Perform thorough evaluations of ocular health and visual function through detailed eye examinations and vision assessments.

Diagnose ocular issues and visual impairments with precision.

Evaluate and issue suitable corrective eyewear, including prescriptions for eyeglasses and contact lenses.

Identify and address ocular diseases while ensuring appropriate referrals for complicated cases.

Deliver comprehensive education to patients regarding eye health and preventive care strategies.

Ensure meticulous management and precision in patient records and documentation.

Work alongside ophthalmologists and other medical professionals to deliver exceptional patient care and uphold clinical standards.

Engage in outreach programs and eye screening initiatives as needed.

Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or a related field required. Demonstrates proficiency in programming languages such as Python, Java, or C++. A minimum of three years of hands-on experience in software development is essential. Strong problem-solving and analytical skills are critical. Excellent communication abilities to collaborate effectively within a team environment are a must. Familiarity with cloud platforms like AWS or Azure is advantageous.

A recognized institution must confer either a Diploma or Bachelor’s Degree in Optometry, or alternatively, a Bachelor of Optometry and Vision Science qualification.

A current, active professional license issued by the appropriate regulatory authority in Kenya is required.

A minimum of three years of hands-on clinical experience in a fast-paced healthcare environment is strongly preferred.

Exceptional ability to build rapport and convey information effectively through both verbal and written communication channels is required.

Demonstrates exceptional professionalism, unwavering integrity, and an unwavering commitment to patient-centered care.

Capable of functioning effectively within a healthcare setting grounded in faith-based principles.
