We are seeking a skilled professional to design, implement, and oversee learning and development initiatives that align with organizational goals and employee growth. The ideal candidate will possess expertise in instructional design, training program development, and delivery, alongside a proven ability to assess training needs and measure effectiveness through robust evaluation methods. Additionally, you will collaborate with cross-functional teams to identify skill gaps, recommend innovative solutions, and foster a culture of continuous learning. Strong project management skills, exceptional communication abilities, and proficiency in learning management systems are essential requirements for this role. Regularly collaborate with department heads to evaluate training needs, pinpointing specific skill deficiencies and establishing clear development priorities for targeted improvement initiatives.

Create and execute training programs that are strategically aligned with organizational objectives as well as the professional development requirements of employees.

Design and develop educational content, including workshops, e-learning modules, manuals, and other relevant materials, ensuring they are engaging, informative, and aligned with learning objectives.

Deliver onboarding, refresher, and capacity-building programs spanning multiple departments to enhance workforce readiness and skill retention.

Ensure all training records and learning dashboards are kept accurate and up-to-date at all times.

The GALT Program Management team is responsible for overseeing the planning, execution, and delivery of key initiatives within the organization. This role requires strong leadership skills to coordinate cross-functional teams, ensuring alignment with strategic objectives and adherence to project timelines. The position demands proficiency in program management methodologies, risk assessment, and stakeholder communication to drive successful outcomes. Additionally, the individual must possess analytical abilities to monitor progress, identify bottlenecks, and implement corrective actions as needed.

Oversee the full lifecycle of the Graduate Aquaculture Learning & Training (GALT) program, from strategic planning through implementation and evaluation.

Responsible for managing the recruitment and selection process for GALT trainees.

Oversee and track trainee rotations between departments while ensuring adherence to the mandatory six-month schedule.

Collaborate effectively with departmental managers to allocate mentors, monitor trainee progress, and resolve any development-related concerns.

Convene structured review sessions and conduct performance appraisals for both trainees and supervisors to ensure consistent development and accountability.

Regularly enhance the GALT curriculum and associated learning activities to ensure ongoing quality and effectiveness.

Drives organizational success by identifying, nurturing, and optimizing employee potential through targeted performance and talent development initiatives. Designs and implements programs to enhance skill sets, boost engagement, and align individual growth with strategic business objectives. Collaborates with leadership to assess workforce capabilities, identify high-potential employees, and create customized development plans. Monitors progress through performance metrics, feedback mechanisms, and continuous evaluation to ensure measurable improvements. Leverages data-driven insights to refine programs, address skill gaps, and foster a culture of continuous learning and high performance.

Assist managers in pinpointing areas where performance can be enhanced and facilitate the rollout of targeted learning initiatives.

Collaborate with the Head of HR to pinpoint high-potential employees and craft targeted development programs to nurture their growth.

Facilitate the advancement of leadership development initiatives and succession planning frameworks.

Designs, implements, and assesses learning systems to ensure their effectiveness and alignment with educational goals. Evaluates the impact of learning initiatives through data analysis and feedback mechanisms. Collaborates with stakeholders to identify training needs and develop tailored solutions. Provide support for the deployment, upkeep, and optimization of learning management systems to ensure seamless operation and continuous improvement of the platform.

Compile and deliver comprehensive learning and development reports to senior leadership on a regular basis.

A bachelor’s degree in Human Resource Management, Education, Business Administration, or a closely related field is required.

With at least three years of demonstrated expertise in Learning & Development or a comparable Human Resources capacity, candidates are encouraged to apply.
