We are seeking a highly motivated professional to join our team, responsible for executing a diverse range of tasks with precision and efficiency. Supervise and coordinate the day-to-day operations of the Recycling staff, ensuring efficient execution of tasks such as sorting mixed waste, plastic, glass, and pig food, as well as operating the baling equipment.

Responsible for organizing and overseeing attendance tracking and management duties, ensuring accurate record-keeping and compliance with attendance policies.

Establish and enforce rigorous quality control protocols to verify that sorted materials consistently comply with established company policies as well as applicable regulatory requirements.

Maintain strict compliance with established safety protocols and standard operating procedures to uphold operational integrity and mitigate potential risks.

Oversee sorting operations to enhance performance and reduce potential interruptions, ensuring streamlined workflows and sustained productivity.

Oversee the planning and allocation of forklifts to enhance recycling workflows.

Maintain precise documentation of sorted materials, equipment utilization, and staff productivity.

Ensure strict adherence to health and safety regulations to uphold a secure and compliant workplace environment.

Compile and submit weekly performance reports, including key OKR metrics, to stakeholders for review and analysis.

Submit petty cash requests and ensure they are tracked through to approval and payment.

Oversee inventory levels of materials while collaborating with the logistics team to ensure prompt removal and transportation.

Perform routine examinations and evaluations of machinery to ensure operational integrity and compliance with established standards.

Compile and deliver periodic reports detailing plant operational performance, encompassing productivity, efficiency, and Overall Equipment Effectiveness (ONE) metrics.

Design and deploy process control systems to ensure optimal operational efficiency and adherence to established standards.

Collaborate closely with the engineering team to facilitate the design and installation of new equipment.

Data-driven decision-making and process improvements are achieved through comprehensive analysis and reporting, utilizing key metrics and insights to inform strategic initiatives.

Conduct comprehensive market research to explore potential applications and advantages associated with both current and prospective machinery assets.

Develop innovative strategies to repurpose underutilized material streams within both the organization and the broader market.

Minimum Qualifications include a Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or a related field, along with a minimum of three years of experience in software development, preferably in a full-stack capacity. Proficiency in multiple programming languages such as Java, Python, or JavaScript is required, along with experience with frameworks like React, Angular, or Spring Boot. Additionally, candidates must demonstrate expertise in relational and non-relational databases, cloud platforms (e.g., AWS, Azure, or GCP), and DevOps practices, including CI/CD pipelines. Strong problem-solving skills, collaborative teamwork, and excellent communication abilities are essential for success in this role.

A diploma or degree in Mechanical Engineering, Environmental Science, or a closely related discipline is required.

With a minimum of three to five years of demonstrated leadership experience in a manufacturing or processing environment, candidates should bring a proven track record of effectively managing teams and operations to drive productivity and efficiency.
