As a Clinical Supply Chain Manager at VIA, you will play a key role in executing the comprehensive clinical supply chain strategy for upcoming clinical trials.
In this role, you will work in close partnership with internal teams and external stakeholders to ensure the timely provision of supplies—including Investigational Medicinal Products (Imps) and Non-Investigational Medicinal Products (Pimps)—to clinical sites. Additionally, you will maintain robust inventory management and provide accurate, ongoing forecasting of drug demand. Demonstrates strong initiative and self-direction in managing supply chain logistics to guarantee timely and accurate delivery of all trial materials to designated locations.
To ensure packed clinical supplies are readily available in accordance with project requirements, oversee demand forecasts and packaging plants.
Launch packaging initiatives in collaboration with the designated vendor while maintaining vigilant supervision to guarantee punctual fulfillment.
Monitor and update assigned Interactive Response Technology (IRT) systems as needed to maintain accurate and efficient study inventory management.
Oversee the distribution strategy while managing and ensuring accountability for the designated vendor(s) tasked with its implementation.
Maintain continuous oversight of budgetary performance to ensure projects are executed efficiently and in strict alignment with client-approved quotations.
Ensures full adherence to all mandatory training assignments and consistently integrates the acquired knowledge into daily work activities.
Stay current with all relevant Gap regulations and compliance mandates pertinent to the position.
Facilitates essential dialogues with clients and vendors on Clinical Supply Chain matters or progress updates as required.
Offers administrative support to the Clinical Trial Supplies team as needed.
Oversees the evaluation and analysis of Temperature Excursions reported to the VIA Clinical Trial Supplies team.
Performs comprehensive and routine risk management evaluations to guarantee systematic examination of all risks and implementation of suitable mitigation strategies.
A Bachelor’s degree or higher in a relevant field is required, along with specialized knowledge and professional certifications where applicable. Candidates must demonstrate a strong academic background and possess the necessary qualifications to fulfill the role effectively.
A minimum of a bachelor’s degree, or higher, in a scientific or business-related discipline is required.
Seeking candidates with one to two years of hands-on experience in clinical trials within the industry.
Additionally, candidates must possess a minimum of one year of relevant experience in Clinical Supplies Chain Management, gained through roles in Supply Chain, Packaging, Distribution, or IRT functions.
Required is hands-on experience with the Interactive Response Technology (IRT) system.
Proven capability in effectively managing projects from inception to completion is required.
Candidates must demonstrate strong interpersonal skills to establish and maintain productive collaborations with both internal teams and external partners.
Demonstrated proficiency in conveying clear instructions and fostering collaborative dialogue is essential.
Proven problem-solving skills with a capacity to analyze complex issues and implement effective solutions efficiently.
