We are currently recruiting a Process & Standards Coordinator to drive operational excellence at our properties, Severin Sea Lodge and Severin Safari Camp.
In this role, your primary responsibility will involve creating detailed Standard Operating Procedures, defining specific duties for each position, setting measurable Key Performance Indicators for critical functions, and streamlining essential workflows to uphold uniform service quality throughout the organization.
You will partner with department leaders and senior management to uphold accountability, streamline operations, and continuously improve performance.
Responsibilities include executing a range of duties, ensuring all operations align with established protocols. Duties involve coordinating with team members to meet project deadlines, maintaining accurate documentation, and adhering to company policies. Additionally, the role requires monitoring workflows to identify potential improvements, assisting in training new employees, and supporting cross-functional initiatives. Proficiency in relevant software tools, strong organizational skills, and the ability to multitask in a fast-paced environment are essential.
Develop and ensure the ongoing integrity of the Functional Accountability Chart (Face) for all essential hotel operations.
Analyze and rectify any areas where ownership is duplicated, roles are inadequately defined, or responsibilities are ambiguous.
Collaborate with department heads to establish a single, primary Key Performance Indicator (KPI) for each critical function, including Front Office, Housekeeping, Food & Beverage (F&B), and Maintenance.
Design and implement practical playbooks and standard operating procedures (SOPs) for critical operational processes.
Establish monthly routines for reviewing key performance indicators (KPIs), monitor the progress of action plans, and verify that all follow-up tasks are completed thoroughly.
Perform periodic audits to verify process compliance and assist departments in addressing and eliminating quality deficiencies.
Ensure uniform standards are maintained across both properties while facilitating practical, localized execution.
Compile comprehensive performance and standards reports to facilitate informed decision-making by management.
The position necessitates a minimum of five years of relevant professional experience, with a proven track record in project management and a deep understanding of industry-specific regulations. Candidates must possess strong analytical skills, exceptional communication abilities, and proficiency in data analysis tools and software. A bachelor’s degree in a related field is required, and additional certifications are highly advantageous. Familiarity with compliance frameworks and the ability to interpret complex legal and technical documents are essential. The ideal candidate will demonstrate leadership qualities, problem-solving capabilities, and the capacity to work under tight deadlines while maintaining meticulous attention to detail.
Proven expertise in hotel operations, quality management, process enhancement, or comparable coordination positions is required.
Exceptional skill in organizing tasks, establishing clear ownership, and developing systems to enforce accountability.
Proven expertise in defining key performance indicators (KPIs), monitoring performance metrics, and generating operational reports to drive informed decision-making.
Demonstrates proficiency in creating, organizing, and distilling complex processes into concise, actionable playbooks and standard operating procedures (SOPs) for seamless implementation.
Demonstrated expertise in stakeholder engagement, with the capacity to collaborate seamlessly with General Managers, Heads of Department, and frontline operational teams to achieve organizational objectives.

Proficient English communication skills, both written and verbal, are required.
