Perform ongoing evaluations of training requirements in partnership with department heads to pinpoint areas where skills are lacking, and development opportunities should be prioritized.

Assess the impact of learning initiatives by analyzing participation rates, outcomes achieved, and return on investment, then compile comprehensive reports. Foster an organizational environment that prioritizes continuous learning and collaborative knowledge exchange.

The GALT Program Management role oversees strategic planning, execution, and delivery of initiatives, ensuring alignment with organizational objectives. Responsibilities include coordinating cross-functional teams, managing budgets and resources, and mitigating risks to drive project success. Key requirements encompass a minimum of five years in program management, proficiency in project management tools, and strong leadership and communication skills. Oversee the comprehensive end-to-end management of the Graduate Aquaculture Learning & Training (GALT) program.

Responsible for managing the recruitment and selection process for GALT trainees.

Collaborate closely with departmental managers to allocate mentors, monitor trainee progress, and resolve any development requirements.

Convene and facilitate review sessions and performance assessments for both trainees and supervisors.

Develop and enhance the GALT curriculum and accompanying learning experiences on an ongoing basis.

Drives performance and talent development initiatives, fostering a culture of continuous improvement and employee growth. Designs and implements programs to identify, nurture, and retain high-potential talent while aligning individual aspirations with organizational goals. Analyzes performance metrics to pinpoint skill gaps, devising targeted interventions such as coaching, mentoring, and targeted training to enhance capabilities. Collaborates with leadership to integrate talent strategies into broader business objectives, ensuring a robust pipeline of skilled professionals prepared for future challenges. Monitors progress through structured evaluations, feedback mechanisms, and developmental milestones to guarantee measurable outcomes and sustained employee engagement.

Assist managers in pinpointing areas where performance can be enhanced and facilitate the execution of targeted learning initiatives to address those gaps.

A bachelor’s degree in Human Resource Management, Education, Business Administration, or a closely related discipline is required.

A minimum of three years of professional experience in Learning & Development or an equivalent HR function is required.

Accomplished in leading discussions, organizing processes, and documenting outcomes effectively.

Proven ability to collaborate effectively and convey ideas clearly in both interpersonal interactions and professional correspondence.

Candidates with a proven track record in overseeing structured training initiatives or graduate development programs will be viewed favorably.
