The WTS Technician is responsible for delivering technical support while upholding quality standards across all Jib franchises. Additionally, this role encompasses the coordination of quality audit initiatives and the identification of opportunities for ongoing enhancement in all quality control methodologies, procedures, and benchmarks utilized at the franchises. The position demands direct engagement, perseverance, and flexibility to effectively address the dynamic challenges and operational demands encountered on a daily basis.

Oversee and execute a comprehensive range of tasks, ensuring alignment with organizational goals and operational standards. Develop and implement strategies to optimize productivity, efficiency, and overall performance. Monitor workflows, assess outcomes, and provide actionable feedback to enhance team effectiveness. Collaborate with cross-functional departments to streamline processes, resolve challenges, and drive continuous improvement. Maintain accurate documentation, track key performance indicators, and report progress to leadership. Ensure adherence to policies, regulations, and industry best practices while fostering a culture of accountability and excellence.

Address technical service requests from franchise locations promptly and thoroughly, ensuring comprehensive resolution of each inquiry.

Conduct installations, perform maintenance, and resolve technical issues for water treatment systems, as well as upgrade the infrastructure of the facilities where these systems are housed.

Implement and sustain operational and quality control procedures while guaranteeing that local operators receive the necessary training to meet established standards.

Conduct routine franchise visits and quality audits to maintain alignment with Jib’s established quality standards and all pertinent regulatory mandates.

Assist Jibuti lab in gathering samples and conducting root cause analysis to implement corrective actions effectively.

Maintain precise records of quality audit programs executed at franchise locations.

Conduct periodic assessments and evaluations of quality conditions at franchise locations while overseeing the execution of the Jib Quality Breach Policy.

Conduct comprehensive root cause analyses for non-conformities and implement both preventive and corrective measures to ensure franchises consistently uphold the most stringent quality standards.

Ensure meticulous documentation of Jib’s quality control processes, procedures, and standards, and actively recommend enhancements or revisions wherever applicable.

Consistently achieve monthly performance targets by leveraging established key performance indicators (KPIs) to monitor and evaluate progress.

Develop, design, and oversee a comprehensive preventive maintenance program for all franchise locations across Kenya. Additionally, supervise and verify the execution of a structured and efficient maintenance schedule to ensure adherence to established plans.

This role operates with significant independence and maintains a direct reporting line to the Production & Quality Coordinator.

This role involves providing guidance to the Franchisee in overseeing and managing the operator’s team effectively.

No team members report directly to this position.

Proficient in Microsoft Office, including Word, Excel, and PowerPoint, with advanced proficiency in Excel. Minimum of 3 years of experience in a customer service role, preferably within a fast-paced environment. Strong communication skills, both verbal and written, with a demonstrated ability to interact effectively with clients and colleagues. Capable of multitasking, prioritizing tasks, and managing time efficiently to meet deadlines. Familiarity with CRM software and basic knowledge of data entry and management. Ability to work independently with minimal supervision while maintaining a high level of accuracy and attention to detail.
