As a Drilling TRS Crew Member, you will play a pivotal role in rig operations by contributing to essential tubular running activities critical to well construction. Your responsibilities will include operating mechanical and hydraulic TRS equipment, aiding in rig-up and rig-down procedures, and maintaining the safe handling of casing, tubing, and associated tools.

As a Drilling TRS Crew Member, your duties will encompass a range of critical responsibilities, including operating and maintaining drilling equipment to ensure efficient and safe operations. You will collaborate closely with the team to execute drilling plans, monitor progress, and adhere to established safety protocols at all times. Additionally, you will be tasked with performing routine inspections, troubleshooting equipment issues, and reporting any irregularities or hazards promptly. Your role will require a keen attention to detail, the ability to follow technical guidelines, and a commitment to upholding high standards of safety and productivity in a dynamic work environment.

Operating TRS equipment, including power tongs, elevators, slips, spiders, torque-turn systems, and hydraulic power units, with a strong focus on safety and professionalism.

Responsibilities include providing support during the assembly and disassembly of TRS equipment, such as stabbing boards, power units, and tools for tubular handling.

Effectively collaborating with the drill floor operator, clients, and subcontracted personnel is essential to maintaining coordinated and safe operations.

Conducting preliminary diagnostics, routine inspections, and essential upkeep of TRS equipment prior to, during, and following operational phases.

Ensuring adherence to all safety protocols, participating in rig safety meetings, and promptly reporting any hazards or operational concerns.

You will prepare job documentation, compile activity reports, and assist with operational tasks as directed by the Operations Coordinator.

To excel in this position, you will be expected to demonstrate proficiency in the following areas:

Demonstrates a solid understanding of the oil and gas sector, with a preference for candidates possessing prior field experience in TRS or drilling operations.

Possesses a robust mechanical aptitude and demonstrates proficiency in the safe and accurate operation of mechanical, pneumatic, and hydraulic tools.

Demonstrate strong interpersonal and communication skills to collaborate seamlessly with rig crews, supervisors, and clients, even under demanding and fast-paced conditions.

A two-year technical degree is preferred, or an equivalent blend of technical training and hands-on field experience is also acceptable.

Demonstrates exceptional problem-solving abilities while adhering to established procedures, conducting thorough equipment inspections, and ensuring operational readiness at all times.

Capable of undertaking domestic and international travel for job assignments, with flexibility to operate under varying schedules encompassing on-call duties and shift-based work structures.
