The primary responsibilities encompass a range of critical functions integral to the role. Tasks include managing daily operations, overseeing project execution, and ensuring adherence to established protocols. Oversee the establishment and execution of financial control mechanisms to ensure compliance and accuracy.

Prepares and oversees the development of budgets while ensuring continuous financial tracking and adherence to allocated resources.

To manage and oversee external and internal audit processes, ensuring compliance with regulatory standards and the execution of audit recommendations.

We are responsible for managing and supervising all reconciliations across bank channels and alternative platforms, including MESA and agency networks.

To guarantee the timely and accurate completion of all finance-related reports.

To facilitate precise and prompt reporting to the Central Bank of Kenya in compliance with prudential guidelines and to other relevant stakeholders.

The Secretary to ALCO .

Responsible for supervising Tax Management and Compliance operations to ensure adherence to regulatory standards and organizational policies.

To supervise partner reporting processes and verify strict adherence to partner agreements.

Responsible for overseeing the financial reporting system to ensure the confidentiality, integrity, and availability of financial data.

Treasury management involves strategically allocating surplus funds and overseeing cash flow to maintain seamless business operations.

The role involves overseeing the work of Accountants and Account Assistants, ensuring tasks are completed accurately and efficiently while maintaining compliance with established accounting standards and procedures.

Performs additional responsibilities as assigned by the Head of Finance on an ongoing basis.

Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or a related field is required, along with a minimum of five years of professional experience in software development. Proficiency in multiple programming languages, such as Python, Java, or C++, and familiarity with frameworks like Django, Spring Boot, or .NET are essential. Strong problem-solving skills, exceptional attention to detail, and the ability to work both independently and collaboratively in a team environment are critical. Excellent communication skills for articulating technical concepts to non-technical stakeholders are also necessary.

A bachelor’s degree in finance, accounting, commerce, business administration, or a comparable qualification from an institution accredited by the relevant Kenyan authorities is required.

A recognized professional certification, such as CPA (K), ARCA, CFA, or an equivalent credential, is a mandatory prerequisite for this role.

Hold valid and active membership with IC PAK.

A master’s degree in a related discipline is highly desirable.
