We are seeking a dynamic professional to join our team, responsible for executing a diverse range of duties aligned with the organization’s strategic objectives. The ideal candidate will oversee key initiatives, ensuring alignment with company policies and fostering collaborative relationships across departments. Primary responsibilities include managing projects from inception to completion, analyzing performance metrics to drive continuous improvement, and maintaining compliance with industry regulations. Additionally, the position requires strong leadership skills to mentor team members, prioritize tasks effectively, and communicate progress to stakeholders. Qualifications include a relevant degree, a minimum of five years of experience in a similar role, and proficiency in industry-specific tools and software.

CENAC’s programs in Kenya will be spearheaded by you, encompassing all aspects from strategic planning and execution to ongoing assessment and oversight.

Foster collaborative relationships with regional civil society organizations, governmental bodies, and community groups.

Oversee the preparation and maintenance of project reports, monitoring and evaluation (M&E) data, while upholding rigorous standards of accountability throughout the process.

At CENAC, you will serve as the primary representative in engagements with stakeholders and during meetings, effectively communicating the organization’s positions and interests.

Assist in the creation of proposals and contribute to fundraising initiatives to advance organizational goals.

Ensure all activities are in strict compliance with CENAC’s mission statement and established safeguarding policies.

Seeking a candidate with a Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or a related field, complemented by a minimum of three years of hands-on experience in software development or IT support. Proficiency in programming languages such as Python, Java, or C++ is essential, alongside expertise in database management systems like SQL or Oracle. Strong problem-solving abilities and exceptional communication skills are required to collaborate effectively within cross-functional teams. The role demands meticulous attention to detail, adaptability to evolving technologies, and a commitment to continuous learning. Responsibilities include developing and maintaining software applications, troubleshooting technical issues, and providing user support to enhance system functionality and efficiency.

A bachelor’s degree in Development Studies, Public Health, Environmental Science, or a closely related discipline is required.

With a proven track record in program coordination or management within the nonprofit sector, candidates should demonstrate relevant experience in overseeing and implementing initiatives effectively.

Accomplished project leadership with expertise in strategic oversight, comprehensive reporting, and effective stakeholder communication.

Preferred candidates will have prior involvement in WASH initiatives, environmental projects, or community development endeavors.

A highly motivated and versatile professional based in Kenya, capable of working independently and adapting to dynamic environments.
