Spearhead the design and implementation of the Entrepreneurship and Enterprise Development initiative within the country strategy, guaranteeing full alignment with national objectives and the Foundation’s overarching vision.
Develop and implement all-encompassing Access to Finance initiative designed to foster greater financial inclusion and drive the expansion of micro, small, and medium enterprises (MSMEs), with a particular emphasis on enterprises led by youth and women.
Craft short- and long-term objectives for the portfolio to steer its strategic trajectory, inform programmatic frameworks, and shape partnership decisions.
You will be responsible for managing the execution and impact of entrepreneurship initiatives and collaborations, guaranteeing seamless delivery, strong coordination, and ongoing enhancement.
Offer assistance to other key strategic areas regarding financial access and business growth initiatives.

WHO YOU ARE
Candidates should possess a bachelor’s or master’s degree, or an equivalent qualification, in Business Administration, Economics, Entrepreneurship, or a closely related discipline.
A minimum of 15 years of professional experience in Entrepreneurship & Enterprise Development, Business Development, or a closely related field within the private sector is required, along with at least seven years of demonstrated leadership and team management expertise.
Proven track record and well-established connections within the fields of Entrepreneurship & Enterprise Development or Business Development, or a comparable sector in Kenya, are essential.
Individuals should possess comprehensive expertise regarding the employment landscape, job creation dynamics, and innovation trends within the country.
Demonstrated success in collaborating with and guiding flourishing entrepreneurship initiatives.
