POSITION SUMMARY

Kitchen Support Experts provide essential assistance to multiple departments within the hotel, including the kitchen, food and beverage services, and employee dining facilities. These professionals utilize keyboards, mice, or trackballs to input and retrieve data from computer databases, ensuring records and files remain current. They operate standard office equipment in addition to computers and draft correspondence, reports, and other documents using word processing, spreadsheet, database, or presentation software. Additionally, they establish and maintain both digital and physical filing systems to organize records, reports, and related documents efficiently. Their responsibilities include compiling, duplicating, sorting, and filing documentation pertaining to office activities, business transactions, and other operational matters, as well as accessing and locating work-related information through computer systems.

Follow all established company policies, as well as safety and security protocols, and promptly report any maintenance issues, accidents, injuries, or unsafe working conditions to your supervisor. Complete all required safety training sessions and obtain necessary certifications. Maintain a neat and professional uniform and personal appearance while safeguarding proprietary information and company assets with strict confidentiality. Greet and engage all guests in a welcoming and professional manner, adhering to company standards. Communicate clearly and professionally with colleagues and customers at all times. Foster and sustain positive working relationships to contribute to team success and shared objectives. Uphold quality expectations and standards in all tasks. Perform job duties that may require standing, sitting, or walking for extended durations. Reach overhead, bend, twist, pull, and stoop to access items below knee level. Move, lift, carry, push, pull, and position objects weighing up to 25 pounds independently. Fulfill additional reasonable responsibilities as assigned by supervisors.

Preferred qualifications include a Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or a related field, along with 3–5 years of professional experience in software development. Candidates should possess strong proficiency in multiple programming languages, such as Python, Java, or C++, and have experience with frameworks like Django, Spring, or .NET. Familiarity with cloud platforms (AWS, Azure, or Google Cloud) and DevOps practices is highly desirable. Additionally, the ideal candidate will demonstrate excellent problem-solving skills, a collaborative mindset, and the ability to work in an agile development environment. Experience with databases (SQL, NoSQL) and version control systems (Git) is required.

A degree or diploma in Hospitality Management or a closely related discipline is required for this role.

Professional Experience Requirement: Candidates must possess a minimum of three to four years of hands-on experience in a comparable professional capacity.

Experience in a luxury service environment, particularly within a 4- or 5-star hotel setting, is strongly preferred.
