Primary responsibilities and obligations include overseeing and executing a diverse range of tasks essential to the role, ensuring alignment with organizational objectives. Duties encompass managing daily operations, coordinating team efforts, and ensuring adherence to established policies and procedures. The position requires meticulous attention to detail, strong organizational skills, and the ability to prioritize competing demands effectively. Collaboration with cross-functional teams and stakeholders is integral to achieving departmental and company-wide goals. Additionally, the role demands proactive problem-solving, effective communication, and a commitment to continuous improvement in all aspects of performance.

Perform an expedited evaluation of the private healthcare sector to ascertain and record existing and potential U.S.-based investors.

Arrange and support meetings with local partners, as necessary including with global pharmaceutical companies, medical device manufacturers, and clinic/hospital networks.

Assist in formulating a strategy to enhance collaboration with the private sector.

Execute additional responsibilities as directed by the Team Lead.

Requires a Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or a related field. Proven experience developing and maintaining software applications is essential. Demonstrates proficiency in programming languages such as Python, Java, or C++. Familiarity with database systems like SQL or NoSQL is required. Strong problem-solving abilities and effective communication skills are critical. Ability to work independently as well as collaboratively in a team setting is necessary. Experience with Agile or Scrum methodologies is preferred. Must be detail-oriented with a commitment to producing high-quality work.

A Master’s degree in Social Science, Business, Public Health, Health Economics, or a comparable field is highly desirable; however, an advanced degree is preferred.

With over a dozen years of dedicated service within the private sector, particularly in healthcare delivery, healthcare services, healthcare investment, or health-focused business associations—such as a regional chapter of the American Chamber of Commerce (Ascham)—you bring a wealth of expertise and insight to the role.

Developed and maintained robust partnerships with a wide array of pharmaceutical firms, medical device producers, and healthcare facility networks worldwide.

Proven expertise in evaluating contemporary investment prospects within the healthcare industry and a track record of fostering or facilitating public-private collaborations.

Availability for a minimum of 1.5 days is required to attend in-country meetings.

Able to promptly adjust to evolving demands and effectively handle multiple priorities simultaneously.

Demonstrates strong initiative and adaptability in rapidly evolving and dynamic settings.

Exceptional proficiency in fostering strong interpersonal connections, crafting clear written communication, delivering impactful presentations, and maintaining meticulous organizational systems.

Fluency in English is required. Additionally, candidates from Côte d’Ivoire must demonstrate proficiency in French.
