Our client, a premier provider of ICT, ELF (Extra Low Voltage), and integrated technology solutions throughout Sub-Saharan Africa, is seeking a high-caliber, results-oriented Senior Sales Associate to join their dynamic team.

The ideal candidate will spearhead sales expansion, cultivate key client partnerships, uncover fresh business prospects, and broaden the organization’s market presence across regional territories. Candidates must possess a strong commercial acumen, backed by demonstrated expertise in selling ICT equipment, technology solutions, networking infrastructure, security systems, data center solutions, or comparable products and services.

The successful applicant should exhibit extensive regional market experience beyond Kenya, coupled with a proven ability to meet sales objectives, oversee strategic accounts, and finalize high-value B2B transactions.

Oversee and execute a comprehensive range of critical duties, including managing daily operations to ensure efficient workflow, implementing strategic initiatives to drive productivity, and maintaining high standards of quality across all projects. Collaborate with cross-functional teams to align objectives, foster innovation, and address challenges proactively. Develop and monitor performance metrics to track progress, identify areas for improvement, and implement corrective actions as needed. Ensure compliance with company policies, industry regulations, and safety protocols while promoting a culture of accountability and continuous development. Serve as a key liaison between departments to facilitate seamless communication and coordination, ultimately contributing to organizational growth and success.

Proactively scout, cultivate, and finalize new business prospects spanning Kenya and neighboring regional markets.

Promote and market ICT equipment, ELF systems, and technology solutions to a diverse range of clients, including corporate organizations, government agencies, non-governmental organizations, educational institutions, and commercial enterprises.

Formulate and implement comprehensive sales strategies designed to drive revenue growth and meet predetermined targets.

Oversee the complete sales process, encompassing lead generation, opportunity cultivation, deal finalization, and ongoing client relationship maintenance.

Craft proposals, generate quotations, develop presentations, and formulate tender responses with precision and professionalism.

Foster and sustain meaningful connections with both current and potential clients to ensure ongoing engagement and satisfaction.

Analyze client business requirements comprehensively and develop tailored technology solutions to address them effectively.

Deliver consistent client engagements through scheduled visits, compelling presentations, and detailed product demonstrations to reinforce value propositions and address inquiries effectively.

Foster exceptional levels of customer satisfaction and reinforce retention rates to drive long-term engagement and loyalty.

Identify and cultivate business prospects within regional markets spanning East Africa and additional Sub-Saharan African nations.

Track developments in the industry, analyze competitor strategies, and evaluate new technologies as they emerge.

Analyze emerging market segments and pinpoint potential avenues for expansion to drive sustainable growth initiatives.

Develop comprehensive sales forecasts, generate detailed pipeline reports, and compile regular business development updates.

Deliver comprehensive market analysis and actionable strategic guidance to senior leadership.

Contribute to the formulation and execution of sales strategies.

Minimum qualifications include a Bachelor’s degree in computer science, engineering, or a related field. Candidates must possess at least three years of professional experience in software development, with proficiency in programming languages such as Python, Java, or C++. Familiarity with cloud platforms like AWS, Azure, or Google Cloud is essential. Strong problem-solving skills and the ability to collaborate effectively in team environments are required. Excellent communication skills for conveying complex technical concepts to non-technical stakeholders are also necessary.

A bachelor’s degree in Business, Marketing, Information Technology, Telecommunications, Engineering, or a closely related discipline is required.

Minimum five years of proven experience in B2B sales within sectors such as ICT, ELF, telecommunications, networking, cybersecurity, infrastructure, or technology solutions is required.

Proven track record in delivering high-impact sales of ICT equipment and technology solutions.

Experienced in managing and expanding operations across regional markets beyond Kenya.

Demonstrates a comprehensive grasp of ICT infrastructure, networking, security systems, data center solutions, and related technologies.

Proven expertise in crafting compelling proposals, delivering impactful presentations, and skillfully negotiating agreements.

Demonstrates exceptional commercial judgment and a proven track record in negotiating and finalizing high-value agreements with key clients.

An aptitude for establishing and nurturing high-level client connections is essential.

Demonstrated expertise in customer relationship management (CRM) platforms alongside advanced proficiency in the Microsoft Office Suite is required.

Ability to travel extensively within Kenya and throughout the region as needed is essential.
