The Role

As a Kitchen Operations Associate, your role involves collaborating with chefs and kitchen leaders to uphold excellence in food preparation, packaging, and dispatch, all while adhering to rigorous standards of quality, hygiene, and food safety.

Responsibilities include overseeing project execution, ensuring adherence to timelines and budgets, and collaborating with cross-functional teams to achieve organizational objectives. Facilitate the seamless execution of daily kitchen operations to uphold efficient production and service delivery.

Prepare and package food items meticulously in strict adherence to established recipes and defined quality benchmarks.

Perform comprehensive quality inspections on completed items prior to shipment to ensure adherence to established standards and specifications.

Ensure strict adherence to cleanliness, hygiene, and food safety protocols throughout all kitchen operations.

Assist in maintaining accurate inventory levels, ensuring timely replenishment of ingredients, and adhering to stock rotation protocols following the FIFO (First In, First Out) method.

Accurately document instances of waste and promptly escalate operational concerns to the Kitchen Leads for resolution.

Accurate completion of production records and daily checklists is required.

Collaborate with kitchen staff to guarantee timely order preparation.

Ensure the workspace remains tidy, well-organized, and optimized for maximum efficiency at all times.

Proactively diagnose challenges and refer urgent matters to appropriate channels without delay to maintain operational efficiency.

Provide guidance and assistance to new employees during their training and onboarding phases as needed.

Requirements

A diploma or degree in Food Production, Hospitality, Culinary Arts, Business, Operations, or a related discipline is required.

0–2 years of experience in restaurants, hospitality, retail, customer service, manufacturing, or food production is beneficial.

Demonstrates meticulous attention to detail and performs effectively in high-pressure environments.

Effective interpersonal communication and collaborative teamwork abilities are essential for success in this role.

Possesses exceptional organizational abilities and demonstrates a proactive approach to assuming responsibility.

Demonstrates adaptability to work varied schedules, including weekends and public holidays, as needed.

Familiarity with Microsoft Excel or Google Sheets is beneficial.

Nice to Have

HACCP certification or a valid Food Handler’s Certificate is required.

A background in restaurants, cloud kitchens, catering, or food manufacturing is required.

Skilled in inventory management and quality control processes.
