Job purpose

To prioritize channel visits aimed at enhancing retailer awareness and improving SIM and Float performance, while ensuring optimal visibility and merchandising at the point of purchase for SOS and Trash agents.

Oversee and execute a range of critical duties, including managing project timelines, coordinating cross-functional teams, and ensuring adherence to organizational standards. Collaborate with stakeholders to gather requirements, address challenges, and facilitate seamless communication across departments. Develop and implement strategies to enhance operational efficiency, while monitoring performance metrics to drive continuous improvement. Maintain compliance with industry regulations and company policies, ensuring all processes align with established guidelines. Additionally, prepare comprehensive reports, analyze data trends, and present actionable insights to senior leadership to support informed decision-making.

SSO & Agent Recruitment & Mapping – Responsible for identifying and recruiting Agents, focusing on mobile money outlets and high-traffic retail stores.

Regularly conduct visits to SOS and Agents according to predetermined route plans (beat plans) to ensure compliance and maintain effective communication.

Provide all necessary transaction tools at SSO and agent outlets and conduct comprehensive training sessions for SOS and Trash Agents on the relevant processes.

Conduct AML training sessions and assessments for agents, with a focus on Anti-Money Laundering (AML) compliance and the Know Your Customer (KYC) process as it pertains to SIM REG compliance. Provide specialized training for SOS to ensure they are proficient in KYC procedures and regulatory requirements.

Float and manage stock coverage while driving sales, ensuring adherence to the 1.5x stock rule for agents and guaranteeing sufficient SIM inventory for new registrations and activations by Sales Support Officers (SOS).

We are responsible for establishing and upholding merchandising standards by ensuring the availability of promotional materials at SOS and Agent outlets.

Seeking candidates with a strong academic foundation and relevant professional experience. Ideal applicants will possess advanced degrees or specialized certifications pertinent to the field. Demonstrated expertise through progressive work experience in a related industry is essential.

A Bachelor’s Degree or Diploma in Business, Marketing, or a related discipline is required for this role.

Experience

With a minimum of one year of hands-on experience in sales and distribution roles, preferably within the Fast-Moving Consumer Goods (FMCG) or telecommunications sectors, you will bring a strong foundation to this position.
