Our client, a prominent telecommunications provider, is seeking to appoint Field Operations Engineers specializing in Transmission and GSM systems.

Job summary/ Job purpose/ Role Intent:

Oversee maintenance and operational tasks within the designated area, guaranteeing service quality and continuity in alignment with established KPIs while adhering to budgetary constraints. Address any equipment malfunctions reported via the trouble ticket (TT) system while adhering to the established corrective maintenance key performance indicators (KPIs).

Execute preventive maintenance tasks meticulously and document all findings in detailed reports.

Collaboratively conduct new site commissioning tests alongside equipment vendors, ensuring all accepted links or sites strictly adhere to the engineering standards and factory specifications outlined by the equipment manufacturer.

Prepare comprehensive reports detailing all maintenance-related activities and participate in daily meetings to assess progress and address issues.

Investigate and document the root cause of link failures by completing the Root Cause Analysis (RCA) form, ensuring that supporting evidence is readily available upon request.
