Girls Not Brides is looking for a skilled Head of Impact and Strategy Performance to spearhead the organization’s monitoring, evaluation, accountability, and learning (MEAL) and impact functions. In this leadership role within the Learning, Evidence and Impact Directorate, you will lead the Impact team and collaborate closely with the Director to define the organization’s strategic vision for monitoring performance against our results framework and measuring impact. Your responsibility will be to ensure that Girls Not Brides possesses the systems, tools, evidence, data, and compelling narratives required to effectively demonstrate progress toward our strategic goals.

In this position, you will spearhead the development and oversight of MEAL systems and strategic planning initiatives, fostering collaboration across teams to ensure our initiatives are impactful, aligned with organizational priorities, and accompanied by robust monitoring and evaluation. You will lead efforts to enhance organizational MEAL and performance frameworks, guaranteeing the generation and dissemination of clear, credible, and persuasive evidence of our impact to key stakeholders.

Develop and oversee the organization’s monitoring, evaluation, accountability, and learning (MEAL) framework, as well as impact measurement initiatives, ensuring they are fully aligned with the broader strategic objectives.

Responsible for directing the design, deployment, and ongoing enhancement of MEAL systems, tools, and processes throughout the organization, guaranteeing their integrity, alignment, and uniform implementation.

Oversee the meticulous collection, analysis, and reporting of high-quality data across all projects, programs, and organizational initiatives to facilitate evidence-based decision-making and adaptive programming.

Conduct comprehensive organizational evaluations and impact assessments while maintaining stringent methodological standards and ensuring their ongoing relevance.

Collaborate closely with the Head of Research, Evidence, and Learning to embed evidence and learning into organizational planning, strategy execution, and performance management, cultivating a culture of ongoing learning and enhancement.

Effectively facilitate seamless collaboration among portfolio management, MEAL, and organizational performance frameworks to ensure cohesive alignment and operational efficiency.

Direct strategic planning initiatives, oversee performance tracking, and manage reporting processes to ensure alignment with organizational goals.

Spearhead the yearly strategic planning initiative, guaranteeing alignment with key organizational priorities and fostering cohesive collaboration across all teams.

Assist the Director of Learning, Evidence, and Impact in cultivating and advancing the organization’s strategic vision for data-informed decision-making.

Provide strategic guidance to senior leadership regarding performance trends, risks, and opportunities within the organization’s strategy.

Oversee the creation of the annual Impact Report and inputs for the Trustees Annual Report, ensuring they present robust evidence, compelling insights, and clear organizational accountability.

Develop compelling impact stories, case studies, and data-driven insights to effectively communicate with donors, partners, members, and the Board, showcasing measurable progress and driving meaningful change within the organization.
