Bachelor’s degree in a related field or equivalent practical experience is required. Proficiency in specific programming languages, frameworks, or tools relevant to the role is necessary. Strong problem-solving and analytical skills are essential. Effective communication and teamwork abilities are crucial for collaboration. Knowledge of industry standards and best practices is preferred. Prior experience in a similar position is often advantageous.

A strong academic background in Monitoring and Evaluation or Statistics is required for this role.

A minimum of five years of professional experience in Monitoring and Evaluation (M&E) is required, including at least three years in a senior or leadership capacity within the M&E field.

Demonstrated experience in field-based non-profit or NGO program operations, ideally within Kenya, is required.

Accomplished professionals with a demonstrated ability to oversee monitoring and evaluation initiatives, encompassing the development and continuous enhancement of data collection methodologies and measurement frameworks.

Professionals in this role will facilitate the collaboration between program teams and data analysis, ensuring insights are effectively utilized for continuous learning, informed decision-making, program enhancements, and accurate donor reporting.

Demonstrated expertise in utilizing data analysis software, including but not limited to SPSS, STATE, Excel, Power BI, or equivalent platforms, is required.

Proficiency in utilizing mobile data collection platforms, such as KoboToolbox, OK, Comm Care, or comparable systems, is required.

Proven expertise in qualitative methodologies such as conducting insightful interviews, crafting compelling narratives, and extracting meaningful insights from complex data beyond mere numerical analysis.

Accomplished report writing capabilities and exceptional communication abilities are essential for this role.
