This is a full-time, on-site position for a Student Admission Officer located in Nairobi. The incumbent will support prospective students throughout the admissions journey, addressing inquiries, sharing detailed program information, and facilitating campus tours or information sessions as needed.

This position entails evaluating applications, confirming the authenticity of documentation, and collaborating with academic and administrative departments to facilitate prompt admission decisions. The officer will ensure precise record-keeping of leads and applicants, conduct follow-ups with prospective students, and assist in both domestic and international recruitment initiatives.

This role involves engaging with communities through outreach initiatives, educational fairs, and school visits, all while maintaining a courteous and professional atmosphere for applicants and their families.

Qualifications

Skilled in fostering meaningful connections with prospective students, parents, and internal stakeholders to establish trust and collaboration.

Proven experience or established familiarity with international admissions protocols and the nuances of cross-cultural interaction.

Exceptional ability to articulate ideas clearly and effectively in both spoken and written formats, essential for delivering presentations, conducting consultations, and managing follow-up communications.

Experienced in delivering exceptional customer service, prioritizing quick responses, maintaining a polished professional demeanor, and ensuring support is tailored to the needs of students.

You should possess a solid background or a keen interest in the education sector, particularly in student recruitment.

A bachelor’s degree in Education, Business, Communications, or a closely related field—or an equivalent combination of education and relevant work experience—is required.

Proficient in working on-site full-time in Nairobi while effectively managing multiple priorities and consistently meeting admissions deadlines.

Proficiency in standard office software and student information or CRM systems is required, while prior experience in admissions or counseling is highly advantageous.
