Overseeing a comprehensive range of critical tasks, the role encompasses managing and executing key operational duties essential to the organization’s success. Responsibilities include developing and implementing strategic initiatives, ensuring alignment with organizational goals while fostering collaboration across departments. Additionally, the position demands rigorous adherence to compliance standards, maintaining meticulous records, and delivering actionable insights through detailed reporting. The role also requires identifying process improvements, optimizing workflows, and driving efficiency to enhance overall productivity. Collaboration with senior leadership to align projects with long-term objectives is a core expectation, along with representing the organization in external engagements when necessary.

Perform evaluations focusing on gender dynamics, social inclusion, and disability considerations to identify key factors and potential barriers within projects, programs, or policies.

Assess obstacles hindering involvement and propose strategies to foster inclusivity.

Ensuring Gender Equality and Social Inclusion (DESI) and disability inclusion are integrated into all project activities and processes.

Formulate comprehensive inclusion strategies, devise actionable implementation plans, and create practical tools to support organizational objectives.

Facilitate comprehensive training and capacity-building initiatives for staff members and key stakeholders to enhance their skills and competencies.

Assist in creating monitoring frameworks that are inclusive of gender and disability considerations.

Craft comprehensive reports and strategic recommendations aimed at enhancing inclusive programming initiatives.

Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or a related field is required. Proficiency in Python, Java, or C++ is essential, along with experience with data structures, algorithms, and software development best practices. Familiarity with cloud platforms such as AWS or Azure is a must, as is knowledge of relational and NoSQL databases. Strong problem-solving skills and the ability to work collaboratively in a team environment are also necessary. Prior experience in a software engineering or development role is preferred.

A degree in Gender Studies, Social Development, Sociology, Disability Studies, Development Studies, or a closely related field is required.

Skilled in advancing Gender Equality and Social Inclusion (DESI) initiatives, with a demonstrated focus on disability inclusion.

With a strong background in conducting thorough assessments, delivering engaging training sessions, and crafting effective inclusion strategies, you will play a pivotal role in driving organizational growth and fostering a collaborative environment.

Analytical prowess, the ability to effectively engage stakeholders, and exceptional report-writing capabilities are essential.

Proficiency in donor-funded or development initiatives is highly desirable.
