Our client, a prominent supplier of ICT, ELF (Extra Low Voltage), and integrated technology solutions throughout Sub-Saharan Africa, is seeking a dynamic and high-performing Senior Sales Associate to join their team.

The ideal candidate will spearhead sales growth initiatives, cultivate strategic client partnerships, uncover new business prospects, and broaden the company’s presence in regional markets. This position demands a commercially astute professional with a demonstrated track record in selling ICT equipment, technology solutions, networking infrastructure, security systems, data center solutions, or comparable products and services.

The successful applicant should exhibit extensive experience in regional markets beyond Kenya and showcase a proven ability to meet sales objectives, oversee strategic accounts, and finalize high-value B2B transactions.

Oversee core duties encompassing the development, implementation, and management of assigned projects, ensuring alignment with organizational goals and adherence to established timelines. Lead cross-functional teams to deliver high-quality outcomes while maintaining clear communication and fostering collaboration among stakeholders. Analyze performance metrics to identify trends, optimize processes, and drive continuous improvement across all operational areas. Ensure compliance with industry regulations, company policies, and ethical standards while mitigating risks proactively. Prepare detailed reports, presentations, and documentation to inform leadership and support data-driven decision-making.

Proactively seek out, cultivate, and finalize new business opportunities spanning Kenya and its neighboring regional markets.

Drive business growth by proactively marketing and delivering ICT equipment, ELF systems, and advanced technology solutions to corporate, government, NGO, educational, and commercial clients.

Formulate and implement comprehensive sales strategies designed to meet and exceed revenue growth objectives.

Oversee the complete sales lifecycle, encompassing prospect identification through deal closure and ongoing client relationship management.

Craft proposals, quotes, presentations, and tender responses with precision and professionalism to meet client and organizational needs.

Develop and nurture enduring connections with both current and potential clients to foster trust and collaboration.

Analyze client business requirements to identify suitable technology solutions.

Execute scheduled client engagements, deliver informative presentations, and showcase product features through demonstrations on a recurring basis.

Deliver exceptional customer experiences to drive satisfaction and foster long-term loyalty.

Identify and cultivate business prospects within the regional markets of East Africa as well as other Sub-Saharan African nations.

Track developments in the industry, keep an eye on competitor strategies, and stay updated on new technologies.

Assess emerging market segments and potential avenues for expansion to drive growth initiatives.

Develop comprehensive sales forecasts, compile detailed pipeline reports, and provide regular business development updates.

Deliver comprehensive market insights and actionable strategic guidance to senior leadership for informed decision-making.

Assist in formulating and executing sales strategies to drive business growth and achieve revenue targets.

Candidates must meet the following essential criteria to be considered for the position. A bachelor’s degree in a relevant field is required, along with a minimum of three years of professional experience in a comparable role. Proficiency in industry-standard software and tools is mandatory, and familiarity with applicable regulations is expected. Strong analytical and problem-solving abilities are necessary, along with excellent communication skills for both written and verbal interactions. The ability to work independently, prioritize tasks effectively, and adapt to changing priorities is crucial. A commitment to continuous learning and professional development is also required.

A Bachelor’s degree in Business, Marketing, Information Technology, Telecommunications, Engineering, or a related discipline is required.

A minimum of five years of hands-on B2B sales experience is required, with a focus on industries such as ICT, ELF, telecommunications, networking, cybersecurity, infrastructure, or technology solutions.

Achieved proven results in the sale of ICT equipment and technology solutions.

Successfully managed and expanded operations across diverse regional markets beyond Kenya.

Demonstrates a comprehensive grasp of ICT infrastructure, networking principles, security systems, data center solutions, and associated technologies.

Proven expertise in crafting compelling proposals, delivering persuasive presentations, and conducting effective negotiations.

Demonstrated expertise in commercial strategy with a proven track record of successfully finalizing high-value agreements.

Demonstrates strong interpersonal skills to cultivate and sustain high-level client connections at the executive tier.

Demonstrated expertise in CRM platforms and the Microsoft Office Suite is required.

Demonstrates flexibility and readiness to undertake domestic travel within Kenya, as well as regional trips, as business needs arise.
