Oversee the execution of core duties, which encompass managing daily operations, ensuring adherence to company policies, and maintaining high standards of efficiency and productivity. Collaborate with cross-functional teams to align objectives, optimize workflows, and drive project milestones. Develop and implement strategies to enhance operational performance, mitigate risks, and foster a culture of accountability and continuous improvement. Monitor key performance indicators to assess progress and implement corrective measures as necessary. Serve as a liaison between senior leadership and staff to facilitate clear communication, resolve conflicts, and promote a cohesive work environment.

Led curriculum development workshops in collaboration with founders, advisors, faculty, and key stakeholders, ensuring productive facilitation and alignment with organizational objectives.

Identify and create two to three short courses slated for imminent release, aimed at cultivating an early audience, validating program hypotheses, and showcasing forward momentum to collaborators and investors.

Develop a comprehensive curriculum framework and program structure at the strategic level for the institution.

Design and develop structured learning pathways, curriculum sequences, and individual modules, ensuring alignment with clearly defined learning outcomes.

Offer guidance on innovative teaching methodologies, experiential learning frameworks, and the strategic design of student engagement within studio environments.

Convert workshop outcomes into structured curriculum documentation and detailed implementation roadmaps.

Work closely with operations and leadership teams to plan, coordinate, document, and execute workshops efficiently.

Offer strategic guidance on academic frameworks, evaluation methodologies, and the incorporation of interdisciplinary learning opportunities.

Analyze and evaluate leading global and African creative education frameworks to guide and enhance curriculum design.

Ensure timely completion and quality of all assigned deliverables, meeting established deadlines and adhering to project specifications and client requirements.

Designed and led curriculum development workshops, producing comprehensive summary reports to document progress and outcomes.

Develop a comprehensive and organized curriculum framework and program structure, detailing the content outline, content mapping, and lesson structure.

The role requires preparation of 2–3 concise course outlines that can be delivered without delay, each featuring a program description, intended audience, duration, and specified learning outcomes.

Ideal Candidate:

You should possess a robust academic foundation and/or substantial professional experience in education, curriculum development, learning design, or innovative approaches to teaching.

Extensive background in designing curricula, academic programs, or comprehensive learning frameworks is essential.

Proven track record in designing and leading interactive workshops, co-creation sessions, and collaborative learning experiences.

Proficiency in creative education methodologies, studio-based learning approaches, interdisciplinary program frameworks, or alternative educational paradigms is required.

Demonstrated ability to effectively engage with stakeholders, communicate clearly, and manage organizational priorities with precision.

Proficiency in arts, culture, fashion, design, or related creative sectors is strongly preferred.

A demonstrated familiarity with African creative ecosystems and cultural contexts is highly advantageous.

Proven capability to thrive in dynamic and rapidly changing team settings while maintaining strong collaborative relationships with colleagues.

The duration of this position is for a fixed term, spanning [insert duration or “X years”].

The consultancy engagement is anticipated to span a duration of 12 to 16 weeks, organized into two distinct phases. A formal evaluation will be conducted between these phases to evaluate progress, ensure alignment with objectives, and determine the continuation of the project.

Reporting to a senior manager or director, the incumbent will be accountable for ensuring alignment between operational activities and strategic objectives. The position requires a proactive approach to monitoring team progress, identifying bottlenecks, and proposing solutions to enhance efficiency. Additionally, the role necessitates fostering collaboration across departments to support cross-functional initiatives and streamline reporting processes. Strong analytical skills and the ability to interpret complex data are essential for translating findings into clear, concise recommendations for stakeholders.

The consultant will collaborate closely with the Arts Education Initiative team while reporting directly to the designated Operations Lead at Pharos Foundation.
