Oversee and execute a range of critical tasks to ensure operational efficiency and team success, including but not limited to project management, process optimization, and stakeholder communication. Develop and implement strategic initiatives to drive performance improvements and align with organizational objectives. Monitor progress through established metrics, providing regular reports to leadership to inform decision-making. Collaborate with cross-functional teams to identify opportunities for innovation and streamline workflows. Ensure adherence to company policies, industry regulations, and quality standards while fostering a culture of accountability and continuous improvement. Lead by example to inspire high performance and professional growth within the team.

Ensure adherence to regional statutory mandates and US GAAP standards, administer month-end and year-end closing procedures, sustain balance sheet reconciliations, and compile statutory financial statements.

Responsible for managing supplier onboarding, processing invoices and allocations, handling employee expense claims, administering corporate credit cards, and ensuring prompt payment to vendors and employees.

Responsible for supervising the preparation, review, and submission of VAT, WHT, WHAT, installment tax, and corporate tax returns, acting as the key point of contact for all tax authority communications.

Coordinate internal and external audits, collaborate closely with external accounting firms, and uphold compliance with financial control and reporting standards.

Maintain the Fixed Asset Register, oversee asset tracking, perform expense reviews, and enhance financial controls and governance processes.

Oversee intercompany billing and reconciliation processes, facilitate settlements in collaboration with the netting center and regional finance teams, ensure compliance with withholding tax regulations, and generate payment files for execution.

Seeking a candidate with robust qualifications, including relevant academic credentials and extensive hands-on experience in the field. The ideal applicant will possess advanced technical skills, a proven track record of leadership, and the ability to drive innovation. Proficiency in industry-specific tools and methodologies is essential, as are strong problem-solving capabilities and exceptional communication skills. The role demands meticulous attention to detail, adaptability to evolving challenges, and a commitment to continuous professional development.

A bachelor’s degree in Finance, Accounting, Economics, or a closely related field is required.

A recognized professional designation, such as a Certified Public Accountant (CPA) in Korea or an ARCA Finalist, is required for this role.

A minimum of five years of hands-on experience in accounting, finance, financial reporting, tax, or another closely related finance discipline is required.

Proficient in Microsoft Office applications, with a strong emphasis on Excel, alongside hands-on experience with financial systems including SAP, Coup, or comparable ERP platforms.

Experts in analytical reasoning, capable of meticulously examining financial information to discern underlying challenges and recommend effective, actionable solutions.

Highly developed communication and detail-oriented mindset, coupled with exceptional interpersonal abilities, a dedication to precision, and proficiency in collaborating with both internal teams and external partners.
