ROLE SUMMARY

Officer Limited, a long-established ISO 17065-accredited Certifying Body, holds authorization to deliver quality assurance services for market-driven sustainability schemes. Headquartered in Nairobi at 1st Floor, Plaza 2000, Mombasa Road, the company also operates subsidiary offices in Ghana, Côte d’Ivoire, and Rwanda.

The trainee auditor will report to the scheme manager and uphold adherence to established scheme requirements. This position offers hands-on experience with certification procedures, document management systems, and quality assurance methodologies, enabling the trainee to develop a solid groundwork for a future in auditing, regulatory compliance, and certification services.

Minimum qualifications include a bachelor’s degree in computer science, software engineering, or a closely related field. Candidates must possess at least three years of professional experience in software development, with proficiency in multiple programming languages such as Java, Python, or C++. Strong problem-solving skills and the ability to work effectively in a team environment are essential. Familiarity with agile methodologies and version control systems like Git is required. Excellent communication skills, both written and verbal, are also necessary to collaborate with stakeholders and document technical specifications.

Recent graduate holding a Bachelor’s Degree in Environmental Science, Agriculture Agribusiness, Horticulture, Food Science, or a comparable discipline.

ISO 9001:2015 certification and social responsibility training will be considered advantageous for this role.

Demonstrates exceptional precision and meticulousness in tasks while maintaining superior organizational capabilities.

Effective interpersonal skills and collaborative aptitude are essential for this role.

Must demonstrate the capacity to work autonomously while consistently fulfilling established deadlines with precision and efficiency.

Individuals should demonstrate a strong willingness to acquire knowledge and adjust to evolving audit methodologies and protocols.
