Job Description
A Sales Administrator is sought to provide robust support for daily sales operations, foster strong client relationships, and facilitate seamless coordination among customers, sales teams, and leadership. The preferred applicant will demonstrate exceptional communication abilities, meticulous attention to detail, and the capacity to manage multiple priorities within a dynamic retail setting.
Oversee and execute critical duties encompassing a broad spectrum of operational, strategic, and administrative functions essential to organizational success. Develop, implement, and monitor comprehensive plans, policies, and procedures to ensure alignment with overarching objectives while maintaining compliance with regulatory standards. Lead cross-functional teams through clear delegation of tasks, fostering collaboration and accountability to drive measurable performance outcomes. Analyze key performance indicators and market trends to inform data-driven decision-making, optimizing resource allocation and mitigating potential risks. Serve as a primary liaison between executive leadership and departmental stakeholders, facilitating transparent communication and aligning initiatives with long-term business goals.
Oversee the management and updates of customer databases and sales records to ensure accuracy and completeness.
Collaborate with the sales team to monitor order statuses, delivery timelines, and inventory levels.
Handle customer inquiries efficiently through phone, email, and face-to-face communication, maintaining a professional and courteous demeanor at all times.
Compile and submit weekly and monthly sales reports for review by senior management.
Provide support in overseeing inventory control and facilitating timely stock replenishment processes.
Provide assistance to marketing and promotional initiatives as needed.
Maintain accurate and efficient organization of all administrative documents through proper filing systems.
Address customer concerns with professionalism and promptly determine the most suitable course of action, including escalating issues to the appropriate channels when necessary.
Preserve the confidentiality of all proprietary company data and sensitive customer information at all times.
Seeking a candidate with a minimum of a bachelor’s degree in a relevant field, along with three to five years of hands-on experience in a comparable role. Strong analytical, problem-solving, and communication skills are essential, along with proficiency in industry-specific software and tools. The ideal applicant will demonstrate a track record of delivering results, working collaboratively in team environments, and managing multiple priorities effectively. Knowledge of industry regulations and best practices is required, as is the ability to adapt to evolving challenges and priorities.
A bachelor’s degree or diploma in Business Administration, Sales & Marketing, or a closely related discipline is required.
With a minimum of three years of prior experience in sales within the branded promotional products sector, candidates will be at an advantage.
Requires strong working knowledge of Microsoft Office Suite, including Word, Excel, and Outlook.
