Proactively detect and address performance bottlenecks and system-related problems to ensure optimal functionality and reliability.
Investigate and address technical challenges arising within server environments, applications, and infrastructure to ensure seamless operational performance.
Document system configurations, procedures, and technical specifications while ensuring all environment architecture and dependency documentation remains current.
Ensure adherence to United Nations security policies and IT governance standards.
Stays current with advancements in the sector, conducts comparative evaluations, and suggests potential new acquisitions.
What we are looking for:
Minimum qualification includes at least four years of practical experience in managing and configuring MS Windows Server environments, with expertise in server administration, PowerShell scripting, and system configuration.
A minimum of four years of hands-on experience in DevOps processes and tools is required, with proficiency in Azure DevOps, encompassing boards, repos, pipelines, and artifacts.
Proven experience configuring and maintaining multiple application environments.
Proficiency in managing Azure cloud environments is advantageous, particularly with Platform as a Service (PaaS) solutions.
Education: Applicants must possess a Bachelor’s degree in a relevant discipline from an accredited institution, with preference given to those holding an advanced degree. Prior academic achievement should demonstrate a strong foundation in the field, complemented by coursework or research that aligns with the position’s requirements. In addition to formal education, candidates should exhibit a commitment to continuous learning and professional development to stay current with industry advancements.
A bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or a closely related discipline is mandatory. A master’s degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or a comparable field would be advantageous.
