Job Summary
The Legal Operations Specialist (National TDB Volunteer) collaborates closely with the Legal Operations Manager to enhance technology, streamline operations, improve processes, implement transactions, and advance other key initiatives within the Legal Department. This role delivers comprehensive administrative and technical assistance to the Legal Operations Team, contributing to the optimization of TDB Group’s operations, safeguarding its interests, and minimizing legal risks.
Oversee and execute a comprehensive range of duties and responsibilities, ensuring alignment with organizational objectives and operational standards. Deliver consistent performance in assigned tasks while maintaining adherence to established protocols and guidelines. Provide specialized support across key functional areas, including but not limited to project coordination, stakeholder engagement, and process optimization. Collaborate closely with cross-functional teams to facilitate seamless workflows and enhance productivity. Monitor progress, evaluate outcomes, and implement continuous improvements to drive efficiency and effectiveness. Uphold accountability for results while fostering a collaborative and solution-oriented work environment.
The Legal Operations Specialist is tasked with a range of critical responsibilities, encompassing but not limited to:
Contribute to the ongoing enhancement of the Legal Department’s processes, systems, and technology by assisting in the development and execution of a strategic project pipeline aimed at boosting efficiency and effectiveness.
Support the Legal Operations Department by actively gathering, evaluating, and presenting data on Legal Department operations to produce key metrics that measure resource utilization efficiency and drive productivity improvements, all while maintaining alignment with the Department’s strategic goals.
Collaborate with various organizational stakeholders to diagnose issues and develop robust solutions, partnering with consulting teams to execute the agreed-upon strategies efficiently.
Assist the Legal Operations Department by delivering project management support to the Legal Department, which encompasses the creation of project plans, ongoing status monitoring, and task oversight.
Project management involves overseeing the entire transaction lifecycle for multi-stakeholder lending activities within the Group, from initiation to completion.
The incumbent is responsible for assisting with the monthly review and reconciliation of the Legal Department’s budget, delivering updated quarterly and annual forecasts as required.
Supporting a range of technical and administrative functions essential to the management and resolution of cases within the Department, responsibilities include drafting and processing documents, handling incoming and outgoing communications, preparing and distributing correspondence, managing document routing, and processing instructions and invoices submitted by external legal counsel.
Maintaining legal files—both in hard copy and electronic formats—in strict adherence to applicable bank policies.
Provides assistance in coordinating meetings, preparing necessary materials, and completing follow-up tasks to ensure the smooth functioning of daily departmental operations.
Assisting with multiple operational projects and initiatives within the department.
We are seeking candidates who possess a strong academic background and relevant work experience in the specified field. Ideal applicants will demonstrate proficiency in key technical skills, exceptional problem-solving capabilities, and the ability to collaborate effectively within a team. Strong communication skills, both written and verbal, are essential, as is a commitment to continuous learning and professional development. Prior experience in a leadership or supervisory role is highly desirable, along with a proven track record of achieving measurable results. Familiarity with industry-specific software, tools, or methodologies will be an advantage. Candidates must meet all educational requirements and hold any necessary certifications or licenses pertinent to the role.
A Bachelor’s degree in business management, business administration, or business organization from an accredited institution is required. A Master’s degree in a related field is considered a plus.
A minimum of five years of hands-on, directly applicable professional experience is required.
Prior experience in an international setting within commercial enterprises, financial institutions, professional services firms, or public sector financial entities—such as international law firms, multinational corporations, banks, insurance companies, international consulting firms, development finance institutions, Ministries of Finance, National Treasuries, or Sovereign Wealth Funds—would be beneficial.
Demonstrated expertise in project leadership, with a strong history of successfully overseeing project initiatives from inception to completion.
A professional certification in project management is highly beneficial.

Demonstrated proficiency in problem-solving, negotiation, organization, and strategic planning, coupled with the capability to thrive in multicultural settings, adeptly manage shifting priorities, and maintain performance under tight deadlines.
