The Talent Manager, who reports directly to the Regional HR Manager for East Africa within the Human Resources division, is instrumental in driving the company’s expansion through the strategic attraction, cultivation, and retention of top-tier talent.

Spearhead the hiring process for senior-level and pivotal positions, simultaneously cultivating robust talent pipelines and implementing high-impact attraction and selection strategies.

Design and create talent development programs, comprising learning initiatives, career progression pathways, competency-based frameworks, and digital learning platforms.

Spearhead leadership development and succession planning initiatives by proactively identifying and cultivating high-potential employees to ensure organizational continuity and future readiness.

Oversee the performance management process, guiding managers in establishing objectives, delivering constructive feedback, and fostering professional development through targeted coaching.

Enhance employee engagement, retention, and organizational culture by spearheading initiatives that foster Diversity, Equity, and Inclusion within the workplace.

Facilitate the development and implementation of market-competitive compensation strategies while cultivating and overseeing high-value external collaborations with educational institutions, recruitment agencies, and professional training organizations, in addition to overseeing employer branding initiatives.

Profile

A master’s degree in human resources management is required, along with a minimum of six years of professional experience in talent management, learning, and development.

Accomplished professionals in recruitment, talent development, coaching, and mentoring bring deep expertise across the entire talent lifecycle.

With exceptional proficiency in managing stakeholders and fostering strong communication, the ideal candidate will excel in building and maintaining collaborative relationships with key individuals and groups. Strong interpersonal abilities and clear, concise articulation of ideas will be essential to ensure alignment and drive project success.

Possesses a solid grasp of workforce planning principles and HR analytics methodologies.

Proven capability to thrive amid rapid change and evolving demands within a high-paced setting.
