Responsibilities
Collaborates closely with key clients to oversee the formulation, execution, and assessment of designated programs and projects, ensuring alignment with strategic objectives. Monitors and evaluates critical facets of program and project progression, analyzing performance data and outcomes to assess effectiveness. Reviews pertinent documentation and progress reports to identify trends, challenges, or deviations requiring attention. Proactively identifies issues or obstacles that may impede success and proposes targeted corrective measures. Acts as a liaison between stakeholders, facilitating clear communication and coordination among all relevant parties. Systematically documents and tracks follow-up actions to ensure timely resolution and accountability.
Conducts primary research on specific facets of programs, operations, and other initiatives, encompassing the collection, evaluation, and presentation of statistical data and relevant information sourced from varied origins.
Delivers comprehensive assistance for policy coordination and evaluation operations, encompassing the examination and assessment of new issues and trends, engagement in evaluation or research initiatives and studies.
Collaborates with clients to deliver consulting services by organizing and leading workshops, facilitating interactive sessions, and supporting the development of actionable change management plans.
Participates in survey projects by contributing to the development of data collection instruments, distributing these tools, and evaluating, analyzing, and interpreting the collected responses. Additionally, the role identifies any challenges or issues arising during the process and formulates preliminary findings based on the analysis.
Prepares diverse written deliverables, including draft background papers, analytical notes, report and study sections, and contributions to publications, among other outputs.
Delivers comprehensive administrative and substantive assistance for consultative gatherings, conferences, and similar events, encompassing the recommendation of agenda items, the identification and proposal of participants, the development of background materials and presentations, and the coordination of logistical arrangements.
Conducts outreach initiatives; collaborates in the design and implementation of training workshops, seminars, and similar programs; engages in and delivers presentations on designated topics and activities.
Conducts field missions by delivering substantive contributions and administrative assistance, as well as collecting data and performing related tasks.
Coordinates the preparation and submission of program and project funding proposals, monitors financial progress through regular reports and statements, and drafts essential documentation such as pledging documents, work programs, and program budgets.
Delivers expert strategic guidance and technical planning, alongside architectural and engineering design and implementation recommendations, for infrastructure programs operating in crisis, recovery, and fragile settings within humanitarian-development nexus projects.
You will play a key role in gathering and interpreting data, uncovering trends and patterns, and delivering draft insights through visualizations such as graphs, charts, tables, and reports. These findings will be used to support data-informed planning, strategic decision-making, presentations, and reporting processes.
Assumes additional responsibilities as needed to support the organization’s objectives and operational needs.

A master’s degree or equivalent advanced university qualification in Civil Engineering, Urban Planning, or a closely related discipline is essential.
A first-level university degree coupled with two (2) years of relevant qualifying experience may be considered equivalent to an advanced university degree.
Completion of either degree or nondegree programs in data analytics, business analytics, or data science is highly preferred.

Desirable candidates will have experience producing diverse written materials, including draft background papers, analytical documents, report sections, studies, and contributions to publications.
A background in crafting policy, encompassing the examination and interpretation of emerging issues and patterns, as well as the development of assessments, research initiatives, or related studies, is advantageous.
A minimum of two (2) years or more of experience in data analytics or related area is desirable.
Preferred candidates will have prior experience in diverse, multicultural work settings.
