POSITION SUMMARY
The Finance Assistant will provide essential support to NEAR’s financial operations in the Nairobi office, overseeing daily finance functions such as generating purchase orders, handling invoice and payment processing, conducting account reconciliations, monitoring expenditures, and verifying adherence to organizational policies, established procedures, and donor-specified requirements. This position will play a key role in maintaining precise financial documentation, delivering timely reports, and facilitating streamlined support for audit preparations and month-end closing procedures.

Demonstrates exceptional mastery of Microsoft Office applications and financial analytics software.
Proficiency in donor budgeting and reporting, coupled with a foundational knowledge of donor compliance requirements, is required.
