We will set up and manage cook stove production facilities, maintaining rigorous testing protocols, implementing robust quality assurance measures, and ensuring full compliance with established standards. Additionally, we will reinforce the supply chains for stoves and alternative fuels, with a strong focus on optimizing last-mile distribution networks.
Drive engagement with clean cooking initiatives by implementing behavior change campaigns, conducting community sensitization efforts, and executing pilot demonstrations of various fuels and appliances to evaluate their performance, efficiency, affordability, and user acceptance.
Provide specialized technical training to artisans, small and medium-sized enterprises (SMEs), and refugee-owned businesses, covering essential topics such as design principles, production techniques, safety protocols, efficiency testing methods, and clean energy technologies—including alternative fuels and eco-friendly cooking solutions.
Offer strategic business coaching and capacity-building initiatives tailored for refugee and host community SMEs, perform comprehensive market and consumer evaluations, uncover viable productive energy utilization opportunities, and facilitate seamless integration into enterprise business models and financing frameworks.
You will contribute technical expertise to the implementation of Results-Based Reimbursement (RBR) mechanisms, facilitate enterprise compliance, and develop robust systems for capturing, validating, and reporting performance data in close collaboration with the MEAL team.
Develop and execute monitoring, evaluation, and learning (MEAL) frameworks, and carry out socio-economic, gender, and affordability surveys to gather critical data. Additionally, facilitate the preparation of structured reports for GIG and donor partners, ensuring alignment with project objectives and compliance requirements.
Design, implement, and oversee digital data collection and monitoring solutions while spearheading digital innovation initiatives such as mobile payment systems, smart metering applications, and remote monitoring technologies. Additionally, collaborate with partners to strengthen their capabilities in data utilization, interpretation, and reporting enhancing decision-making processes.
Deliver technical assistance concerning environmental, gender, and social safeguards throughout all projects while guaranteeing adherence to relevant standards and requirements.
Document lessons learned, innovations, and best practices, compile analytical knowledge products, and organize learning events, training sessions, and workshops to enhance program learning, replication, and scale-up efforts.

A minimum of three years of relevant experience in a comparable position is required. Proficiency in industry-specific software tools is essential. A master’s degree in electrical/energy engineering or mechanical/environmental engineering is required for this position.
A qualified candidate must hold a Bachelor’s Degree in Renewable Energy or a related field, with coursework encompassing ICS, solar for DUE, mini grids, alternative fuels, HTC, and digital energy applications. Additionally, the ideal candidate will possess a minimum of five years of hands-on experience specifically in solar energy for productive use and mini grid systems.

A seasoned professional with specialized expertise in Results-Based Reimbursement/Financing Mechanisms, bringing over five years of practical experience in developing and implementing results-based financing (RBF/RBR) frameworks. Skilled in designing and operationalizing these mechanisms while ensuring enterprise-level compliance and robust reporting systems.
A Bachelor’s degree in Community Development or a related field, coupled with at least three years of experience in community liaison roles, is required.
The ideal candidate will possess a strong background in project management, with at least five years of experience leading cross-functional teams. Proficiency in Agile and Scrum methodologies is essential, along with exceptional problem-solving abilities and a keen eye for detail. Experience with budget management, risk assessment, and stakeholder communication is highly desirable. A Bachelor’s degree in Business Administration, Computer Science, or a related field is required, while an advanced degree or relevant certification (such as PMP or CSM) would be advantageous.
