Job Purpose Statement

The Head of LOOP Payments Business oversees the alignment of market opportunities with LOOP DFS’s strategic vision and objectives. This position is tasked with driving the expansion of Consumer and Business payment verticals, fostering activation, retention, and monetization within the payments’ ecosystem. Additionally, the role encompasses the leadership and coordination of all growth managers across the business.

The individual in this role will spearhead the commercial design, execution, monetization, and end-to-end accountability for the payments vertical’s strategic direction. Leveraging platform design methodologies and business modeling frameworks, they will dissect payment ecosystems to uncover high-potential, investment-grade opportunities, construct robust business cases, secure stakeholder alignment and approvals, and mobilize cross-functional teams to execute the payments vision. Additionally, they will champion payment innovation initiatives, enhance user experience, and streamline payment processes to drive cost efficiencies.

The successful candidate will be responsible for managing and nurturing partnerships with payment service providers, financial institutions, and card networks.

Oversee critical account management functions, ensuring the delivery of high-quality services and solutions to key clients. Develop and maintain strong, long-term relationships with major accounts to drive client satisfaction and retention. Monitor performance metrics and address any issues promptly to meet or exceed client expectations. Collaborate with cross-functional teams to align resources and strategies with client needs. Prepare and present detailed reports on account activities, progress, and financial performance. Identify opportunities for upselling and expansion within existing accounts to maximize revenue potential. Ensure compliance with company policies and industry regulations throughout all engagements. Provide strategic guidance to clients to support their business objectives and foster mutual growth.

Gathering and interpreting financial data to inform strategic planning and decision-making processes is a core responsibility of this role. Evaluating current financial performance against historical benchmarks and market trends is essential to identify opportunities for growth and cost optimization. Collaborating with cross-functional teams, including finance, operations, and executive leadership, ensures alignment between financial objectives and broader organizational goals. Proficiency in financial modeling, forecasting, and variance analysis is required, along with strong analytical and problem-solving skills. Additionally, the ability to communicate complex financial insights clearly and concisely to stakeholders at all levels is critical. Candidates must possess a bachelor’s degree in finance, accounting, or a related field, along with relevant professional certifications such as CFA or CPA preferred.

Job Specifications

A Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Business, or a related field is required.
