POSITION SUMMARY

The Finance Assistant will facilitate NEAR’s financial functions in the Nairobi office by handling routine financial duties, such as generating purchase orders, managing invoice and payment processing, conducting account reconciliations, monitoring expenditures, and upholding compliance with organizational policies, established procedures, and donor mandates. This position will enhance the integrity of financial documentation, ensure prompt reporting, and provide streamlined assistance to internal audits and month-end closing procedures.
