We are seeking a skilled and dedicated professional to join our team, where the primary responsibility will involve fulfilling a critical mission-oriented role. Serving as a pivotal member of the HR team under the Regional HR Manager for East Africa, the Talent Manager is instrumental in driving the company’s expansion through the strategic attraction, cultivation, and retention of top-performing talent.

Spearhead the hiring process for senior and pivotal positions, simultaneously cultivating robust talent pipelines and implementing compelling attraction and selection strategies.

Design and deliver strategic talent development programs, encompassing learning initiatives, structured career progression plans, competency-based frameworks, and innovative digital learning solutions.

Lead the advancement of leadership capabilities and strategic succession planning initiatives by proactively identifying and nurturing high-potential employees to ensure a robust pipeline of future organizational leaders.

Oversee the performance management cycle while providing managers with guidance on goal setting, feedback delivery, and professional development coaching.

Elevate employee engagement, bolster retention rates, and strengthen organizational culture by driving forward initiatives in Diversity, Equity, and Inclusion.

Drive strategic initiatives in compensation design to ensure market competitiveness while cultivating and overseeing high-impact external collaborations with universities, agencies, and training providers. Additionally, spearhead employer branding efforts to enhance organizational appeal and attract top talent.

Profile

A master’s degree in human resources management is required, along with a minimum of six years of professional experience in talent management and learning and development.

Seasoned professionals with deep proficiency in recruitment, talent development, coaching, and mentoring throughout the entire talent lifecycle are encouraged to apply.

Demonstrates exceptional ability to manage stakeholders and communicate effectively, fostering strong relationships and ensuring alignment across teams.

Proficiency in workforce planning and HR analytics is essential, demonstrating a strong grasp of strategic human resources management and data-driven decision-making processes.

Ability to operate effectively in a fast-paced and dynamic environment
