What You’ll Do
Execute comprehensive consumer marketing initiatives throughout East Africa, while also assisting with culturally tailored campaigns in other Sub-Saharan African regions.
Collaborate with diverse teams spanning marketing, music, partnerships, media, analytics, and creative to develop and implement campaigns from initial strategy to final execution.
Leverage both platform-based and external data sources to analyze audience patterns, uncover market prospects, and pinpoint growth catalysts, thereby shaping a strategic marketing approach.
Collaborate with internal stakeholders and external agency partners to craft well-defined creative and media briefs.
Spearhead strategic initiatives aimed at acquiring, engaging, and retaining audiences across both Free and Premium segments.
Develop and cultivate strategic alliances with local partners, influencers, content creators, agencies, and key cultural entities to enhance brand recognition and foster consumer engagement.
Evaluate campaign effectiveness and distill key insights to develop strategic, executable recommendations for upcoming initiatives and market approaches.
To tailor global marketing strategies for local relevance, ensuring alignment with diverse consumer audiences and varying market conditions.
We collaborate with internal teams and regional partners to champion local music and cultural marketing initiatives, ensuring impactful and cohesive campaigns.
Who You Are
With a minimum of four years of hands-on experience in consumer marketing, brand marketing, or campaign management across East Africa, you bring a proven track record of driving growth and engagement in the region.
You possess a proven track record of successfully operating across various Sub-Saharan African markets or executing regional campaigns.
You possess a strong background in brand strategy, consumer insights, digital marketing, media planning, and/or project management, among other relevant areas.
You possess a proven track record of executing high-impact marketing campaigns across diverse digital business landscapes, including fast-moving consumer goods (FMCG), retail, entertainment, and technology sectors.
Proven ability to convert consumer and cultural insights into compelling marketing strategies and campaigns is essential.
You possess strong proficiency in leveraging data and performance metrics to assess outcomes and enhance marketing efficiency.
You must adeptly balance competing priorities while consistently delivering high-quality results through meticulous attention to detail and precise execution.
