Role Context
The PR & Communications Associate will help implement Prudential Kenya’s public relations and communications strategy by cultivating strong media relationships, crafting premium content, facilitating internal communication efforts, organizing PR events, and contributing to crisis and reputational risk management initiatives.
This position will uphold and strengthen the Prudential brand by delivering communications that are uniform, prompt, and fully compliant across all internal and external channels.
Responsible for overseeing a portfolio of key client accounts, the incumbent will ensure adherence to contractual obligations, maintain high levels of customer satisfaction, and foster long-term partnerships through strategic account management. Qualifications
A bachelor’s degree in Public Relations, Communications, Journalism, Marketing, or a closely related discipline is required.
1–5 years’ experience in corporate communications, public relations, journalism, or agency environment.
With a proven track record in media relations, content creation, and stakeholder communication, you will leverage your expertise to enhance brand visibility and foster strategic partnerships. Your ability to develop compelling content and cultivate meaningful relationships with key stakeholders will be essential in driving organizational success and amplifying our message across diverse platforms.
Fluency in written English is essential, while conversational mastery of Swahili serves as a valuable asset.
Proficiency in financial services or insurance industry communication is considered beneficial.
