To implement cook stove production centers, you will oversee their establishment and operational readiness, focusing on rigorous testing, unwavering quality assurance, and strict adherence to established standards. This role also involves fortifying stove and alternative fuel supply chains, with particular emphasis on optimizing last-mile distribution to ensure seamless delivery to end users.
Drive awareness and encourage the uptake of clean cooking solutions by implementing behavior change initiatives, conducting community engagement activities, and executing pilot demonstrations of various fuels and appliances—evaluating their performance, efficiency, cost-effectiveness, and user satisfaction to ensure sustainable adoption.
Provide specialized technical training sessions to artisans, small and medium-sized enterprises (SMEs), and refugee-owned businesses, covering key areas such as design principles, production techniques, safety protocols, efficiency testing methodologies, and clean energy technologies—including alternative fuels and eco-friendly cooking solutions.
Deliver business coaching and capacity-building services to small and medium-sized enterprises (SMEs) owned by refugees and host communities, perform comprehensive market and consumer evaluations, pinpoint viable energy applications, and assist in integrating these opportunities into their business models and financing strategies.
Deliver technical expertise to implement Results-Based Reimbursement (RBR) mechanisms, facilitate enterprise adherence to compliance standards, and design systems for capturing, validating, and reporting performance data in collaboration with the MEAL team.
Develop and execute monitoring, evaluation, assessment, and learning (MEAL) frameworks, perform socio-economic, gender, and affordability assessments through surveys, and facilitate the preparation of structured reports for submission to GIG and donor partners.
Develop and implement digital data collection and monitoring systems, facilitate digital innovation initiatives such as mobile payment solutions, smart metering, and remote monitoring, and enhance partner capabilities in data utilization and reporting.
Deliver technical assistance in environmental, gender, and social safeguards for every intervention while maintaining compliance with relevant standards and requirements.
Document all key insights, innovations, and proven methodologies; develop comprehensive analytical reports and knowledge-sharing resources; and organize structured learning events, training sessions, and workshops to enhance programmatic learning, replication, and scalability.
We seek candidates who meet the following key qualifications: a minimum of five years of relevant experience in the field, a bachelor’s degree (or equivalent) in a related discipline, and proficiency in industry-standard software tools. Strong analytical and problem-solving abilities are required, along with excellent communication and teamwork skills. Experience managing complex projects, leading cross-functional teams, and delivering measurable results is highly preferred. Additionally, candidates must possess exceptional organizational capabilities and the ability to thrive in fast-paced environments.
A master’s degree in Electrical/Energy Engineering or Mechanical/Environmental Engineering is required for this role.
A Bachelor’s Degree in Renewable Energy or a related field—such as ICS, Solar for DUE, Mini Grids, alternative fuels, HTC, and digital energy applications—is required, along with a minimum of five years of hands-on experience in Solar applications for productive use and mini grids.
Professional with a university bachelor’s degree or higher-level professional training in environmental and social safeguards, gender, and social inclusion, boasting five years of hands-on experience in environmentally friendly cooking technologies.
A seasoned professional with advanced expertise in Results-Based Reimbursement/Financing Mechanisms, bringing five years of hands-on experience in facilitating the development and implementation of results-based financing (RBF/RBR) frameworks, with a strong focus on enterprise compliance and reporting systems.
A bachelor’s degree in Community Development or a closely related field is required, along with at least three years of hands-on experience serving as a Community Liaison.
Required: A minimum of five years of relevant professional experience, with a proven track record in project management and team leadership. Proficiency in industry-standard software tools and advanced analytical capabilities are essential. Strong communication skills, both written and verbal, are necessary to collaborate effectively with stakeholders at all levels. Experience with budgeting, strategic planning, and cross-functional coordination is preferred. Additionally, familiarity with regulatory compliance and risk management frameworks is advantageous.
