Overseeing the equity portfolio and formulating and implementing responsible commercial exit strategies for portfolio companies are key responsibilities of the role.

Collaborate with the digital transformation team to devise and execute a digitization strategy aimed at enhancing value creation for potential target companies.

Offer strategic guidance to portfolio companies by cultivating impactful alliances, securing new debt and equity financing, and contributing insights on key strategic decisions—particularly those related to ESG and digital transformation initiatives.

Represent ADT on the boards of portfolio companies as circumstances require.

Develop co-investment consortia and cultivate robust relationships with co-investors.

Offer continuous assistance to the Operations and Finance teams concerning the valuation and reporting of portfolio companies.

Collaborate effectively with Managing Partners to cultivate a distinctive brand identity and foster a positive organizational culture, ensuring AIM consistently aligns with industry-leading standards and best practices.

Facilitate investor relations activities and conduct thorough due diligence assessments for prospective investors.

You will serve as AIM’s representative in the Africa market, both locally and on a global scale, engaging in external professional development initiatives and knowledge-sharing efforts, as well as collaborating with Action when necessary.

Seeking candidates with a Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or a related field, alongside three years of experience in software development or a comparable role. Proficiency in programming languages such as Java, Python, or C++ is essential, along with expertise in system design and debugging. Strong problem-solving skills, effective communication abilities, and a proven track record of delivering high-quality solutions are required.
