Job Summary

The Doctor Liaison Officer will proactively cultivate strong partnerships with physicians affiliated with 3rd Park Hospital, ensuring they receive comprehensive support to enhance their practice and deliver exceptional patient care. This role involves identifying strategic opportunities to boost physician retention, address any communication barriers, and effectively convey the hospital’s evolving capabilities and innovative services to medical professionals.

Oversee critical operational duties, including managing daily workflows, ensuring compliance with established protocols, and maintaining high standards of efficiency and accuracy. Collaborate with cross-functional teams to align projects with organizational goals, identifying areas for improvement and implementing solutions to enhance productivity. Monitor performance metrics to assess outcomes, providing data-driven insights to senior leadership to support strategic decision-making. Develop and enforce policies that foster a safe, inclusive, and productive work environment while upholding company values and regulatory requirements. Additionally, lead training initiatives to onboard new team members and reinforce best practices across the department.

Develop and nurture robust professional connections with admitting and referring physicians to enhance collaboration and patient care outcomes.

Facilitate seamless patient referral procedures and enhance collaboration across medical specialties to ensure efficient care transitions.

Address existing communication inefficiencies and enhance physician satisfaction and retention rates.

Serve as the primary liaison between physicians and relevant stakeholders, addressing their inquiries and resolving any concerns promptly and effectively.

Provide timely updates regarding the latest advancements in medical technologies, equipment, and services offered by the hospital.

Gather input from physicians and communicate any critical issues to management for review.

Collaborate effectively with insurance and finance teams to facilitate seamless pre-authorizations and payment processing.

Accurately document all physician engagements within the CRM system to ensure comprehensive and up-to-date records.

Attend networking events, seminars, and meetings on behalf of the hospital to enhance professional relationships and represent the organization’s interests.

The ideal candidate must satisfy the following prerequisites: a minimum of five years of progressive experience in a relevant field, a bachelor’s degree or higher in a related discipline, and proficiency in industry-standard software tools. Strong analytical skills, exceptional communication abilities, and the capacity to work collaboratively within cross-functional teams are essential. Prior leadership experience in a supervisory or managerial capacity is highly advantageous, as is a proven track record of delivering measurable results under tight deadlines. Additionally, familiarity with compliance regulations, project management methodologies, and data-driven decision-making processes is required.

A relevant academic background, such as a Bachelor’s degree in Business, Marketing, Healthcare Administration, Nursing, or a comparable discipline, is required.

Seeking a candidate with a proven track record of 4 to 5 years in healthcare sales, physician engagement, or an equivalent liaison capacity.

Proficient in fostering connections, cultivating professional networks, and maintaining effective communication channels, with a focus on relationship management and collaboration.

Demonstrates strong command of Microsoft Office applications and customer relationship management (CRM) software.

Proficiency in medical terminology and familiarity with hospital operational frameworks are essential.

Track and analyze critical metrics to evaluate performance and drive operational excellence, ensuring alignment with strategic objectives through measurable outcomes.

Increase in total patient referrals.

Number of consistent doctors in each specialty

Number of face-to-face visits with referring physicians.

Experienced a decline in the number of issues and complaints originating from admitting physicians.
