Oversee critical operational duties, including the development and execution of strategic initiatives to enhance organizational efficiency. Lead cross-functional teams to achieve key performance indicators and ensure alignment with company objectives. Monitor progress through performance metrics and implement corrective actions as necessary. Collaborate with senior leadership to refine business processes and drive continuous improvement. Responsible for securely transporting staff, documents, and goods as directed. Uphold strict confidentiality regarding discussions and movement of items. Demonstrate reliability through adherence to scheduled pick-ups and deliveries.

Maintains the highest standards of ethical and professional behavior in all aspects of the role.

Your responsibilities include ensuring the assigned vehicle remains in optimal condition, with meticulous attention to cleanliness and overall maintenance. This encompasses routine upkeep tasks such as refueling, conducting inspections, and verifying insurance coverage. You must also demonstrate adaptability to handle emergencies as needed.

• Bachelor’s degree in engineering, computer science, or a related field, or equivalent practical experience.
• Minimum of three years of professional experience in software development, with a focus on cloud technologies, distributed systems, or large-scale data processing.
• Proficiency in multiple programming languages, including but not limited to Python, Java, or Go, and experience with frameworks such as Django, Spring Boot, or similar.
• Strong understanding of cloud platforms (AWS, Azure, Google Cloud) and containerization technologies (Docker, Kubernetes).
• Experience designing, implementing, and optimizing scalable, fault-tolerant systems.
• Familiarity with DevOps practices, including CI/CD pipelines, infrastructure as code (Terraform, CloudFormation), and monitoring/observability tools (Prometheus, Grafana, ELK Stack).
• Excellent problem-solving skills and the ability to work collaboratively in cross-functional teams.
• Strong communication skills with the ability to articulate technical concepts to both technical and non-technical stakeholders.
• Commitment to continuous learning and staying updated with emerging technologies and industry trends.

Holders of a minimum GCSE certificate are eligible to apply.

A valid Kenyan driving license, free of any traffic violations, is required for this position.

Candidates must possess a minimum of three years of professional driving experience in light vehicle operations.

Possesses a strong understanding of road safety regulations and familiarity with routes throughout Nakuru and its surrounding regions.

Possesses a fundamental understanding of vehicle maintenance procedures and practices.

Demonstrates strong integrity, dependability, and professionalism, accompanied by excellent verbal and written communication abilities.

Must be willing to adjust working hours as needed to meet operational demands.
