We are currently seeking a receivables’ accountant to join our client’s accounts department, where they will drive operational excellence by managing debtor accounts, invoicing, and billing processes to uphold and enhance business profitability.

Job Description

Prepare debtors’ account statements by updating them with the latest financial transactions and outstanding balances.

Consistently distribute monthly statements of accounts to all debtors as part of routine financial reporting procedures.

Prepare the company’s accounts receivable report by reconciling outstanding balances, verifying transaction accuracy, and ensuring alignment with financial records.

Accurately and promptly generate client quotations and invoices to ensure timely billing and financial documentation.

Consistently provide debtors with updated reports detailing the status of their accounts.

Monitor and ensure timely settlement of outstanding client payments.

Diligently examine accounting documents to verify the precision of the information presented.

Support the establishment and maintenance of robust internal financial controls to ensure compliance and operational integrity.

Consistently compile and present the current status of debtor accounts to management on a regular basis.

Accurately maintain and organize all accounting documents pertaining to the specific role or department through systematic filing and documentation processes.

Support the monthly close process by verifying account balances, reconciling discrepancies, and preparing accurate journal entries while maintaining adherence to established accounting standards.

Collaborate effectively with various departments, including operations and procurement, to guarantee timely shipment deliveries.

Developing the predetermined costs associated with product manufacturing serves as a foundational responsibility within this role.

Develop and maintain accurate business projections by monitoring sales performance, revenue trends, and expense tracking to ensure financial clarity and strategic alignment.

Ensure all banking transactions are completed within the designated deadlines and that all supporting documentation is filed appropriately.

Job Requirements

Demonstrated expertise in accounts receivable operations, financial accounting, and cultivating client relationships is essential.
