The Deputy Director for Programs, Global Surge (DDP) spearheads leadership, strategic decision-making, and coordination on programmatic matters, encompassing the crafting of high-quality proposals and ensuring the seamless execution of IRC’s programs. The role is accountable to the Country Director (CD) and operates as a key contributor within the Country Management Team. This position oversees Technical Coordinators, the Senior Program Coordinator for protection sectors, and the Senior Coordinator for Grants & Accountability. Strong collaboration is required with the Deputy Regional Director and regional support team members, as well as with Technical Advisors providing assistance to the country program.

Oversee and execute a broad range of critical duties, including strategic planning, team leadership, and operational management to ensure organizational objectives are met. Collaborate with cross-functional departments to align projects with company goals, fostering innovation and efficiency.
