What You’ll Do

The position encompasses a broad spectrum of data-centric responsibilities, such as:

Data collection involves gathering relevant information, evaluation entails assessing the quality and accuracy of the data, and annotation includes labeling, categorizing, or enriching the data to ensure it meets specified standards or criteria.

Conduct pairwise comparisons to evaluate differences between various entities, ensuring accuracy and thoroughness in the assessment process.

Performs a variety of counting-related duties to ensure accurate tracking and verification of quantities, including but not limited to reconciling inventory levels, documenting receipts and disbursements, and verifying shipment accuracy against purchase orders. Maintains precise records of transactions while adhering to established procedures and quality standards. May assist in audits or cycle counts to identify discrepancies and resolve them promptly. Collaborates with warehouse staff, procurement teams, and accounting departments to facilitate seamless operations and uphold inventory integrity. Requires meticulous attention to detail, proficiency with basic arithmetic, and familiarity with inventory management systems. Ability to work efficiently in fast-paced environments with minimal supervision while maintaining high levels of accuracy.

Proficiently categorize and annotate diverse media formats, including audio, video, images, and structured datasets, ensuring precise tagging and labeling to enhance data organization and retrieval.

What we’re looking for:

Proficient in speaking, reading, and writing Swahili with the same level of mastery as a native speaker.

Advanced proficiency in English, meeting or exceeding B2, C1, C2, or native-level standards, is required.

Preferred candidates should possess expertise in AI and data capabilities, with practical experience in one or more of the following domains: machine learning operations, data acquisition and preprocessing, data assessment and quality control, or data annotation and labeling.
