A central responsibility is cultivating strong external relationships with key health systems stakeholders, fostering awareness and acceptance of FP product introductions, and ensuring global access to a diverse range of FP methods. The ideal candidate will excel as a clear, engaging, and dynamic FP communicator, adept at leveraging digital platforms such as newsletters, webinars, and social media, as well as facilitating in-person engagements and events. As a globally focused role, this position involves developing resources and collaborating with external partners across Africa, Asia, and Latin America, while also coordinating with colleagues based in the US and UK.

Accountabilities/Responsibilities:

As the lead coordinator and facilitator of a global NGO working group dedicated to public sector adoption of the hormonal IUD, you will design, organize, and lead quarterly virtual meetings and annual hybrid gatherings, developing agendas, presentation materials, and supporting resources. You will expand the working group’s engagement by conceptualizing and implementing targeted outreach initiatives, while also creating, curating, and distributing a hormonal IUD newsletter to a global audience, with strategies to grow its readership. Additionally, you will conceptualize and execute digital learning opportunities—such as webinars, training sessions, and closed forums—for global audiences, focusing on FP product introduction. Serving as the primary liaison for external organizations seeking technical support on FP product introduction programs, you will triage inquiries, provide resources, and develop new materials to address programmatic needs. You will also lead external in-person outreach efforts, identifying relevant conferences, meetings, and events to promote FP product introduction goals and resources, managing logistics for sponsorships, exhibition booths, and presentations, and creating physical and digital collateral to enhance outreach effectiveness.

Further, you will participate in ongoing internal and external outreach to monitor product introduction progress in key regions, while coordinating with national stakeholders in select African markets and supporting Ministry of Health officials in preparing for the launch of a longer-acting injectable contraceptive. Your role may involve facilitating quantification exercises, updating guidelines and health information systems, engaging with national regulatory bodies, and developing training and introduction plans.
