Mission Description

Reporting directly to the Regional HR Manager for East Africa and operating within the Human Resources division, the Talent Manager is instrumental in driving the company’s expansion by identifying, nurturing, and retaining top-tier talent.

Spearhead the hiring process for senior-level and pivotal positions, simultaneously cultivating robust talent pipelines and implementing strategic attraction and selection methodologies.

Design and create innovative talent development strategies encompassing comprehensive learning programs, structured career progression pathways, competency-based frameworks, and cutting-edge digital learning solutions.

Leadership development and succession planning initiatives must be spearheaded, encompassing the identification and cultivation of high-potential talent within the organization.

Oversee the performance management cycle and provide guidance to managers in establishing objectives, delivering feedback, and offering coaching.

Enhance employee engagement, retention, and organizational culture by fostering a collaborative and inclusive environment, with a particular focus on advancing Diversity, Equity, and Inclusion initiatives.

Facilitate the development and implementation of competitive compensation strategies while cultivating and overseeing strategic external collaborations with universities, agencies, and training providers, as well as spearheading employer branding initiatives.

Profile

A master’s degree in human resources management is required, along with a minimum of six years of professional experience in Talent Management or Learning & Development.

With extensive experience in recruitment, your expertise extends to talent development, coaching, and mentoring throughout the entire talent lifecycle.

You possess strong abilities in managing relationships with stakeholders and conveying information effectively.

Proficiency in workforce planning and HR analytics is essential, requiring the ability to analyze data to forecast staffing needs and optimize workforce efficiency.

Proven capability to thrive amid rapid changes and evolving demands within a high-velocity workplace setting.
