The ideal candidate must exhibit a strong commercial acumen while spearheading sales growth initiatives, cultivating strategic client partnerships, uncovering new business prospects, and extending the company’s market presence across regional territories. Candidates must demonstrate extensive experience in selling ICT equipment, technology solutions, networking infrastructure, security systems, data center solutions, or similar offerings, supported by a track record of success.
The successful applicant should exhibit extensive experience in regional markets beyond Kenya, along with a proven ability to meet sales targets, oversee key accounts, and finalize high-value B2B agreements.
Oversee and execute critical duties encompassing strategic planning, operational management, and team leadership to ensure organizational objectives are met efficiently. Provide guidance and direction to department personnel to foster a collaborative and productive work environment. Develop and implement policies, procedures, and best practices to enhance performance, compliance, and continuous improvement across all functions. Monitor key performance indicators (KPIs) to assess progress, identify trends, and implement corrective actions as needed. Collaborate with cross-functional teams to align resources, streamline processes, and drive innovation. Serve as a primary point of contact for stakeholders, ensuring clear communication and alignment with business goals.

Minimum qualifications include a bachelor’s degree in a relevant field, such as engineering or computer science, along with a minimum of five years of professional experience in a related industry. Candidates must possess strong analytical and problem-solving skills, with proficiency in industry-specific software and tools. Excellent communication abilities are essential to collaborate effectively with cross-functional teams and stakeholders. Demonstrated leadership experience is preferred, along with a track record of delivering projects on time and within budget. The ability to adapt to evolving technologies and industry trends is also required.
A bachelor’s degree in Business, Marketing, Information Technology, Telecommunications, Engineering, or an equivalent discipline is required.
With a minimum of five years of hands-on experience in B2B sales, preferably within the ICT, ELF, telecommunications, networking, cybersecurity, infrastructure, or technology solutions sectors.
Successfully delivered ICT equipment and technology solutions with proven results.
Demonstrated expertise in managing regional markets beyond Kenya’s borders.
Demonstrates a robust knowledge of ICT infrastructure, network security systems, data center technologies, and related solutions.
Skilled in crafting compelling proposals, delivering persuasive presentations, and conducting effective negotiations.
Exceptional proficiency in commercial strategy and a proven track record of successfully finalizing high-value transactions.
Proven expertise in cultivating and sustaining high-level client partnerships at the executive tier, ensuring strong, enduring professional connections and mutual trust.
Strong working knowledge of CRM platforms alongside expertise in Microsoft Office Suite is essential.
Demonstrates flexibility to undertake domestic and regional travel as necessary within Kenya.
