Responsibilities include coordinating with Czarnikow to arrange anticipated shipments from multiple origins to Mombasa Port.

We are responsible for obtaining all necessary clearance documents and facilitating seamless clearance and delivery of shipments for Czarnikow clients across Kenya and Uganda, where AGL manages the clearance process.

Responsibilities include overseeing the seamless transportation and monitoring of containers from the Port to designated Warehouses in Mombasa, Nairobi, and Kampala.

Overseeing and meticulously documenting sugar inventory levels constitutes a core responsibility, ensuring accurate tracking of stock quantities and timely replenishment as needed.

Compiling weekly stock reports involves gathering, analyzing, and summarizing inventory data to ensure accurate tracking of stock levels, movements, and discrepancies. This role requires meticulous attention to detail to maintain precise records, identify trends, and support decision-making processes. Strong organizational skills are essential for managing data efficiently, while proficiency in spreadsheet software and inventory management systems is often necessary to execute tasks effectively. Additionally, the ability to communicate findings clearly and collaborate with cross-functional teams enhances the overall accuracy and utility of the reports.

We promptly notify Czarnikow of any updates or modifications to government policies or regulations governing sugar importation to ensure full compliance and operational alignment with current legal requirements.

Following the arrival of sugar shipments at client locations, the role entails overseeing the unloading, inspection, and verification of quantities to ensure accuracy and adherence to contractual agreements. Responsibilities include confirming delivery documentation, resolving any discrepancies in orders, and maintaining detailed records of received goods. Additionally, the position requires coordinating with logistics teams to facilitate smooth operations and addressing any client concerns regarding delivery timelines or product specifications. Strong attention to detail, proficiency in documentation, and effective communication skills are essential for success in this position.

Maintaining a comprehensive log of all approved rates is essential.

Monitoring inventory levels of sugar is essential to ensure adequate supply and prevent shortages, requiring meticulous tracking of stock quantities and usage rates to maintain optimal levels at all times.

Handle all aspects of shipping operations, including order fulfillment, packaging, and delivery coordination. Ensure accurate and timely dispatch of goods to customers or designated locations. Manage shipping documentation, such as invoices and bills of lading, while maintaining compliance with shipping regulations and company policies. Coordinate with carriers, freight forwarders, and internal teams to optimize shipping processes, reduce costs, and enhance delivery efficiency. Monitor shipping performance metrics to identify areas for improvement and implement corrective actions as needed.

The Czarnikow shipping desk is tasked with processing IDF applications for all Pro forma Invoices received.

The submission and completion of C60 (EG PSP) applications to Treasury must be meticulously managed and executed.
