JOB PURPOSE
The incumbent will manage the Branch’s daily operations, fostering sales growth while upholding stringent compliance with regulatory and company standards. Additionally, they will ensure the delivery of exceptional customer service throughout all interactions.
This position plays a crucial role in formulating and executing strategies that align with organizational goals, fostering strong client connections, and enhancing team capabilities to drive operational efficiency.
Overseeing and managing key client accounts, the Principal Accountabilities encompass establishing and nurturing long-term strategic partnerships, ensuring client satisfaction, and driving revenue growth through upselling and cross-selling initiatives. This role involves collaborating closely with internal teams to align solutions with client needs, monitoring account performance, and proactively identifying opportunities to enhance client engagement and retention. Additionally, the position requires maintaining a deep understanding of industry trends, competitive landscapes, and client business objectives to tailor bespoke solutions that deliver measurable value. Strong leadership, exceptional communication skills, and a results-driven mindset are essential to successfully execute these responsibilities while contributing to the organization’s overall success.
To oversee all operational functions of the branch, ensuring seamless efficiency and maximum effectiveness in day-to-day activities.
Achieve consistent sales growth to meet and exceed established targets consistently.
Recruitment, motivation, and retention of high-performing intermediaries, including agents, brokers, and bancassurance partners, are critical priorities.
Responsibilities include supervising branch personnel, facilitating their integration, evaluating performance, fostering professional growth, providing hands-on training, and addressing disciplinary matters as needed.
Ensure Unit Managers and Direct Sales Agents receive comprehensive and current Paris product training, with updates promptly communicated whenever changes occur.
Implement and execute the Branch’s marketing and customer service strategies effectively.
Develop strategies to identify, engage, and expand into specialized market segments, enhancing the visibility and adoption of Paris products within these niche audiences.
Foster a favorable corporate image by consistently delivering outstanding service to clients and stakeholders.
Contribute proactively to the execution of Corporate Social Responsibility (CSR) initiatives across all branch networks.
Ensure strict adherence to the company’s established underwriting policies and procedures, with particular emphasis on credit policies and documentation standards.
Verify that all intermediaries satisfy every regulatory requirement prior to the initiation of business transactions.
Conduct regular on-site client meetings to maintain strong relationships, promote marketing initiatives, and address significant renewals and operational challenges as they emerge.
Gather market intelligence across diverse regions, compile the findings, and present them to management, highlighting emerging trends and market shifts, including those in specialized niches.
Design and implement robust internal control systems while verifying that all branch personnel comply with established protocols and procedures.
Prepare and submit both scheduled and ad hoc reports to the Head Office-Retail Business Manager as required.
Develop and oversee the annual budgeting process for both Branch and unit managers, ensuring alignment with strategic objectives and financial targets.
Ensure that renewal notices and other relevant correspondence are delivered to intermediaries promptly and in accordance with established deadlines.
Performs various other duties as required or assigned from time to time.

An Advanced Diploma in Insurance, such as the AII or ACID qualification, is required.
Possesses a comprehensive understanding of diverse insurance offerings, including but not limited to life, health, property, and liability coverage.
Requires relevant experience in the field, with a proven track record demonstrating expertise and proficiency in key responsibilities.
