Our client, a premier provider of ICT, ELF (Extra Low Voltage), and integrated technology solutions throughout Sub-Saharan Africa, is seeking a dynamic and results-focused Senior Sales Associate to join their team.

The ideal candidate will spearhead sales expansion, cultivate key client partnerships, uncover emerging business prospects, and extend the company’s market presence across regional territories. This position demands a commercially astute professional with a track record of success in selling ICT hardware, technology solutions, networking infrastructure, security systems, data center solutions, or comparable offerings.

The successful applicant should exhibit extensive regional market knowledge extending beyond Kenya and demonstrate a proven ability to meet sales objectives, oversee strategic accounts, and finalize high-value B2B transactions.

Oversee and execute a range of critical duties to ensure operational excellence, including managing project timelines, coordinating cross-functional teams, and implementing strategic initiatives. Lead process improvements by analyzing workflows, identifying inefficiencies, and recommending data-driven solutions to enhance productivity. Serve as a liaison between departments to foster collaboration, streamline communication, and align objectives with organizational goals. Monitor performance metrics to track progress, evaluate outcomes, and provide actionable insights to senior leadership. Ensure compliance with industry regulations, company policies, and quality standards while maintaining meticulous attention to detail.

Proactively identify, pursue, and secure new business opportunities across Kenya and its surrounding regional markets.

Drive sales of ICT equipment, ELF systems, and cutting-edge technology solutions to corporate, government, NGO, education, and commercial clients.

Formulate and implement comprehensive sales strategies aimed at surpassing revenue growth objectives.

Oversee the full spectrum of the sales process, spanning from lead generation and qualification through to deal closure and ongoing client relationship management.

Craft compelling proposals, quotations, presentations, and tender responses to meet client and project requirements effectively.

Develop and nurture lasting connections with both current and potential clients.

Analyze client business requirements and recommend suitable technology solutions accordingly.

Perform periodic on-site client engagements, deliver compelling presentations, and showcase product functionalities through tailored demonstrations.

Strive to maintain exceptional customer satisfaction and foster long-term retention by consistently delivering outstanding service and addressing client needs effectively.

Identify and cultivate business prospects within the regional markets of East Africa and other Sub-Saharan African territories to drive growth and expansion initiatives.

Analyze industry developments, track competitor actions, and identify emerging technologies to maintain a competitive edge.

Uncover emerging market segments and untapped growth avenues to drive strategic expansion and enhance competitive positioning.

Develop sales forecasts, pipeline reports, and business development updates to support strategic decision-making and growth initiatives.

Deliver actionable market insights and strategic guidance to senior leadership, empowering data-driven decision-making processes.

Assist in the formulation and execution of sales strategies to drive business growth and achieve revenue targets. Contribute to the planning, coordination, and deployment of effective sales initiatives designed to enhance market penetration and customer acquisition.

Bachelor’s degree in business administration, finance, accounting, or a related field is required, along with a minimum of five years of relevant professional experience. Proficiency in financial modeling, data analysis, and reporting tools is essential, and candidates must possess strong problem-solving and communication skills. Familiarity with industry regulations and compliance standards is also necessary.

A Bachelor’s degree in Business, Marketing, Information Technology, Telecommunications, Engineering, or a related discipline is required.

A minimum of five years of hands-on B2B sales experience within the ICT, ELF, telecommunications, networking, cybersecurity, infrastructure, or technology solutions industries is required.

Proven track record in driving sales of ICT equipment and technology solutions.

Experience in managing regional markets beyond Kenya is required.

Demonstrates a comprehensive grasp of ICT infrastructure, network architecture, cybersecurity protocols, data center operations, or related technical domains.

Proven expertise in crafting compelling proposals, delivering persuasive presentations, and conducting successful negotiations is required.

Experienced in driving revenue growth through strategic commercial insight and adept at negotiating and finalizing high-value agreements.

Demonstrates proficiency in establishing and nurturing high-level client partnerships, ensuring sustained engagement and mutual value creation at the executive tier.

Demonstrates strong competency in Customer Relationship Management (CRM) platforms and the Microsoft Office Suite, including advanced skills in utilizing these tools to enhance productivity and operational efficiency.

Must be prepared to undertake domestic travel within Kenya and regional trips as necessitated by the role.
